Sally jumped backwards when ashes came into the room, she tried to hide the gun in vain, but it was too late. "I needed leverage" She protested 'asides, ya said I could tryn shoot it. The smaller girl pointed out. She turned back to Omega with a glare. "Don't get smug on me, lotsa weppons lyin round here! I suges you tell me what I wanna know, or I'll go get somethin even worse!

Nyx The Omega "Like I said, go right ahead and try. Pain doesn't register to me as a threat anymore." Nyx told Sally in a bored tone, really not buying the child's threat. "Besides, I've only got one arm now and I'm sitting right here. Easiest chance you'll ever have." She muttered as she cracked her neck. I don't want to do this anymore.... One day or another Everything goes boom.
Ashes everywhere One day or another
Ashes rolled her eyes, still ignoring Omega. "Yes, I did say you could shoot it, but that was only if I was with you! It isn't safe to shoot yet!" She lectured, snatching her gun away. She bit her lip, tempted to tinker with it. That part of her job, however, could not be gotten out of with that announcement. Well, she could find Egan and tell him that she was well enough to work. Especially since everyone was looking out and working but her.
And I want to be a part of that fire.

EganThe Resistance Leader "Ladies, must we disturb what is likely the first bit of peacefulness Nyx has had in quite a while?" Egan watched the girls from where he was leaning in the doorway, face expressionless. He'd decided to go and check on the status of Omega, seeing as he had a little bit of time on his hands. He hadn't expected to find his scout and weapons specialist here, but it didn't really surprise him. Everyone at the Resistance wanted a piece of Epsilon, and at the moment, Omega was the closest they could get.
"This is personal for every single one of us. If it wasn't, we wouldn't be here. However I won't have you straying from your job. Right now it's crucial that you preform at the best of your abilities, and leave the interrogations to the people I assign. Or have you forgotten the oath I took?" he tossed Ashes a pair of gloves. "You'll need those if you're going to follow through with your wish to disobey me."
He crossed to stand in front of Sally, kneeling so that they were at the same level. "I ordered everyone to become scouts. If you don't like that, or think that your job is less important now, take it up with me. Don't let your personal mission move you to hackle our guest, understood?"

Eliza froze at the sound of Richard's voice. He was bad for showing up seemingly out of thin air, and she was surprised that she hadn't seen this coming. Still, it wasn't exactly polite.
"I...I've got plenty enough emotion that even you might be saved from the bitter coldness that fills your chest instead of a heart like the rest of us humans." she said quietly, swiveling round so she didn't feel his smug daggers drilling into her head.
"And don't assume that I know anything other than what I'm told. The Deltas may have been created by this corporation but it doesn't take away from their capacity to surprise us. As far as we know, Epsilon could be the greatest failure this establishment has ever seen." she realized that she was insulting Richard's work but the words were out before she could stop them. It was entirely different from insulting the man's character. What was coming over her? Her cheeks flooded with color and she turned back towards her screens. Richard may work for the same company she did, but that didn't make him loyal to his co-workers. All it would take is one teeny tiny report and she'd be out of a job.

Nyx The Omega When Egan arrived, Nyx watched him in silence before she finally took a mental note that he seemed to be the leader. Still, he seemed to be the only one that was calm at the moment, and this eased her nerves slightly. "Whether you wish to kill me or not, I am slightly grateful that you've told the small, annoying human to move along." Nyx told Egan softly, still sitting patiently in her cage. I don't want to do this anymore....

RichardOmega's HandlerA smirk rose to Richard's lips as Eliza insulted him. It took a lot to actually make the man angry, and he found her comments more amusing than anything else really. "Now ,now my dear. Don't knock the cold until you've tried it." He mocked before stepping closer. "And you and I both know where the true failures lie...they were raised by regular, human women for seven years. Ones, who in their free time, probably tried to instill moral values upon them even though the rules were clear. Omega's mother was famous for it, and look where she is now. Probably dead for her mistake. Where do you think it will leave your angry, confused, over-worked Alpha?" He asked smugly. "Epsilon has been taught only information and today is her first day of being awake. She knows no moral values and will see no logic in learning them either. But due to their early exposure, even the earlier Deltas will have a hint of values left."

One day or another Everything goes boom.
Ashes everywhere One day or another
Ashes turned to look at Egan as he spoke. Shoot. He caught her. The girl groaned, knowing that she was in trouble. She just hadn't wanted to lay in the infirmary. After all, she wasn't all that hurt. She felt just fine. Still, she sighed, still looking at Egan. Ashriel ignored Nyx, as she was one of the few that could care less about the Omega. She held the prototype in her hand, taking a deep breath.
"I wasn't going to disobey...err...the announcement? Err...fine..." She mumbled, obviously disappointed that she was expected to stay off the job. Ashes hated taking days off, and nearly everyone knew it. Still, she caught the gloves and continued to look at her hands. "Fine...but...what am I supposed to do?" She questioned, having no idea what she could do if she wasn't working. Her whole life was her work with weapons. It always had been; it likely always would be.
And I want to be a part of that fire.

Eliza was sorely tempted to tell Richard where he could shove his 'Both you and I know's', but instead, took a small breath, hearing him out. Was that so? In that case, Epsilon would have no reason to disobey orders. However, she would have no reason to follow them, either. Interesting. Has the Epsilon corporation thought of that? She turned in her chair to look at him.
"Whatever happens to him and the others...it will be the fault of this Corporation." Where exactly did this heartless man stand, when it was all said and done?
"Tell me then, Richard...what is your excuse?" she'd taken psychology. She knew that a majority of all things were rooted in a person's childhood. Did he have a particularly bad one?

RichardOmega's Handler"Do you not think the corporation has already taken measures to begin correcting their mistakes?" He asked. "My excuse?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. He wasn't quite sure what she meant by that. His excuse for working for Epsilon Corporation? Or for perfecting a human weapon? Or just for being a heartless b*****d? "I work for the Corporation because they finally presented me a challenge, I created Epsilon because I saw improvements that could be and needed to be made, and as for my attitude, well I've just always been this way. And quite enjoy it I might add. But if you're trying to get deep down to the roots of my callousness, you'd find I had a normal upbringing in a wealthy family. I got whatever I wanted, went to the best schools to get the best education, and was given ample amounts of attention by both of my parents. Not everyone has to have some issue to be like me. Some of us are just born this way." Richard laughed. His demeanor certainly bothered people from time to time, but it was quite entertaining when it bothered a person to this extent.

EganThe Resistance Leader Egan looked over at Ashes, grinning that rare grin of his. "Whatever it is you do when I'm not looking. Word around the Resistance is that I've got eyes in the back of my head but surely you don't believe that?" in a backwards way, he was giving her permission to work again. But he hadn't came out and said it and if Doc asked, he had no clue what the man was talking about.
He straightened, looking over at Nyx for a moment. He studied her, then gave a slight nod, looking back at Ashes. "Do me a favor, kitten and return with Omega's arm. I believe its still in the van.." he frowned in thought. They had a lot of vans...oh well. It would delay any weapons work Ashriel planned on doing. "If not, ask Amaya. She should know."

The man was right of course. Some people were just born jerks. She tilted her head at him, then turned back to the files on her desk, silently beginning to work. There was nothing left for her to say, then. Whatever happened, happened. When the deltas were shut down, she would be out of a job and have to find something else to do with her time. It's just the way it was. Even if her heart was broken.
She placed her headset back on, reconnecting and reaching for the large slushy she always seemed to have nearby, sipping from its straw. "Progress report." she said quietly between sips, resolving to ignore Richard's presence altogether. He was less unsettling that way.

One day or another Everything goes boom.
Ashes everywhere One day or another
Ashes looked at Egan as he grinned, furrowing her eyebrows for a minute. What was he thinking? After a moment, a sly smile made its way onto her lips. Whatever she did when he wasn't looking? Well, she usually worked on her prototypes all night in bed... She knew for a fact that Egan didn't know everything that went on, or he would've had something to say about letting the newbies test out a couple of her more...backfiring prototypes. She grinned mischievously, looking at him and waiting patiently. "Alright. That I can do." She answered, not saying what 'that' was.
Ashes looked at Omega when Egan glanced to her. Nyx didn't seem to have any weapons on her or with her, so Ashes quickly lost interest. If he'd brought in one of the different systems, it might have been a different story. She looked at Egan again when he asked her to do him a favor. Get Omega's arm? That would be easy enough. Now which van would they have taken... "I'll do that." She said, hurrying out of the room and down the hall, bumping straight into several of the newer recruits that didn't know that you don't get in Ashes' way when she was doing something. She stopped dizzily after a bit of running before again hurrying toward the bay. Upon arriving, she grinned to see a van that was so recently used that it was obviously it. The girl peeked inside the van to see if she could find the arm.
And I want to be a part of that fire.

Nyx The Omega Nyx had sat and listened quietly the entire exchange, slightly raising her eyebrows when Egan told Ashes to go retrieve her arm. Either he had forgotten it was removed and left in the alley, or he was sending her on a wild goose chase. Either way, when Ashes left, Nyx turned her attention to Egan. "I assume she hasn't been told the arm was left where you abducted me? Might as well have been anyway I guess. That shock fried my arm, so even if I had it, it would remain useless, just dead weight really." She sighed as she put her hand to her chin. "However...that doesn't explain why you're here. My former handler was in to drive me into hysterics and weaken my logical senses, the small one was in to attempt information, and the other was here to retrieve an experimental weapon. So why does the leader of the resistance grace me with his presence?" She asked calmly, seeming to have calmed down from her earlier episode. I don't want to do this anymore....
