"They know you're bigger than them," Shane said. "And they're used to seeing weird things. Aren't you, my little cuddle-kins?" she cooed to the kitty in her hands, scratching under its chin and making it purr. "Yes, you don't care about my arm," she murmured, petting the kitten. "You're such a good little thing, aren't you, baby?" She started kissing the kitten on the head and it just purred.
"I am very worried now," Zach muttered to his boyfriend. "Keep her busy for a second? I'm going to call my counselor." He walked off, pulling out his cell phone.

"Wait, but how do I--??" Zach had already left him alone to deal with Shane. Left alone with the weird girl and the grumpy straight guy. This wasn't where he wanted to be.

"Sweetie, sweetie, sweetie." Shane sidled up to her friend's boyfriend. "Tell me honestly, do you like cats?" She offered the kitten to Riley. "If you don't like cats, you can't date my friend." She couldn't help herself, letting out a little giggle.

"Er, y-yeah I don't mind cats....But I'm not sure you or anyone else can say who he can or can't date...or if that's any reason to deny him a boyfriend..." Riley said shyly, eyes shifting back and forth between Shane and the kitten.

Her eyes narrowed, and then she spun away with a sniff. "Well." Then she scurried off to a corner, where she sat down and began cooing to the cat, scratching its head absently while she murmured to it.
"My counselor is on the way," Zach said, grabbing Riley's hand and addressing both boys. "She said we should get out of here. So, um, let's go." He felt bad about abandoning his friend, but she was kind of creeping him out a lot.

"And I'm Will." Will said cheerily, introducing himself to Skye. "Yeah, we should probably bail before the authorities get here." He pointed out, hearing the sirens getting closer.

Skye nodded and motioned for Will to follow as she headed away from the sirens. "I wish who ever is doing this would stop...I don't want my house to be next." She said.

"Er, what's with her? Is she going to be alright?" Adrian asked, looking over his shoulder at Shane with a hint of worry as he was dragged away.
"I-I'm sorry, whatever I did, I didn't mean to!" Riley said, worried Shane's current state was due to something he mistakenly said, although he was just being honest before.

"It wasn't you," Zach said softly. "I think something's been off with her since... since her lover died, okay?" Zach didn't look at Adrian, but was aware of his presence and didn't want to give away his friend's secret to him.
