And ah, it sounds like a brand of microbrew (Jaunty Jackalope, that is). (aretoo lives in Portland, the town of the microbrew, and is used to unusual brew names, even if he doesn't drink 'em)

I'm not a very strict vegetarian, so I'm not fussy. I don't eat meat, and at home I don't cook in animal fats, but when it comes to restaurants, I am much less concerned about what the food is cooked in.

Subway and Quiznos have good veggie options, as do many pizza places. We have a fast food place called The Wild Carrot that's veggie-friendly (...actually, it's pretty much veggie-centric), and then there's Mother Nature's.
