"It couldn't hurt to look into it." Jian replied. "If you did, how would you want to go about it? From what I hear, the Thunderbirds were quite influential, and their name is still famous.You could easily expect a media storm, but I suppose the fact that the twins were found will cause a bit of attention anyway." Jian replied. "And since we did find them and they are academy students, we do have a say in terms of their welfare."

Damien waved a finger. "Ah, but who controls the media in this country? They won't be able to pry if we don't let them and any journalist who thinks he or she will get a big scoop, well let's hope they like hard labour and a barbed wire backyard." he stated. "It will have to be a secret investigation".

Damien had sent the twins off with Jian because he had some other matters to deal with. He would let the Chief General handle the investigation for now and get back to him later. Right now he wanted to deal with the new collection of prisoners and he knew just who to contact.
The Absolute Leader called both Monica and Jay to his office.

"It's me. You called?" Monica said, knocking on the absolute leader's door, as always and waited for him to call her inside. She did hope this wasn't a trap or something but knowing that Jay was also called, it was probably safe. Of course, anything was fine as long as it didn't interfere with the secret police's and the army's training sessions.
