x3 I'm at my parents' house, and I'd forgotten how many bugs there are. ._. I didn't miss the bugs.
@Bass: I set up a wireless network for the house, since when my brothers get here, there'll be 4 different computers. x3 Each with a different OS.
Hopefully there isn't any Roland-itis. >.>

I had a hard enough time connecting myself. x3 I'm used to my computer just automatically detecting available networks, but it wouldn't detect this one, so I had to do it manually. x3 I'm so lazy...
I named it Ye Olde WiFi, and the password's something along the lines of lolwtfbbq.

@Invisi: Vinegar has acidity in it and it'll kill the bacteria/venom left behind by the bug. I've never heard of baking soda, though. It's probably a disinfectant, right, Tae?
I was always told to use vinegar. It sure feels good when I use it. I had a bug bite recently on my backside that kept filling with pus. I was a little worried that I had been bitten by something serious. I scratched it open to where it was bleeding and use hydrogen peroxide. That fixed it good. :3
That stuff doesn't sting. It just bubbles.

Tae: lol Nice password =P
Chex: Ah, I see. And ew pus... Heh, I remember when I was little I always dreaded my mom pulling out the Hydrogen Peroxide bottle to put on my scrapes and such. The violent bubbling always freaked me out and it stung when poured on open wounds >.> At least that's how I remember it...

Lol, yeah, I think that's how a lot of kids remember that stuff. I had some wicked road burns one afternoon, coming home from picking up a friend from school (I tripped over my bike pedals and went skidding across the asphalt). I was bleeding all over the place and was literally screaming from the pain when mom put that stuff on my elbow.
Now, it's something that hardly phases me.

Baking soda alone is basic (as opposed to acidic, like vinegar). It calms the inflammation and neutralizes the acidity of the venom.
You can use it in conjunction with vinegar, too. Fizzes a bit, but should have the same effect.
If you have any peppermint leaves, you can crush them up and mix them with the baking soda paste. Nice and cool.
