And I've never watched that series Tsuji. I'm told it is incredibly depressing, as well as completely confusing near the end.

I'm pretty sure that I've seen the series before, but for some reason I thought that I hadn't... But yeah, it's a bit on the depressing side and there's a reason that the term "Gainax Ending" was coined.
