I didn't even bother with those orphan's save once or twice. I did sell a couple of the adoption letters for a couple of k profit but other than that, there were too many to keep track of the prices, and I knew the popularity wouldn't last long at all.
Am glad my advice did some good - I have more where that came from, still. Am quite certain that is the best way to gain gold, and it doesn't even take very long to pick up on it.

And I believe St. Paddy's was moved to the 15th this year

and don't fret yennon. You're on late at night or early morning, right? Try to buy items then. You'll have better luck when there aren't many users on. I very very very rarely get the insanely good deals. There's a few mp abusers who sit online for hours taking em all. wink
