"Well, this bad boy's gonna surprise you." He chuckled as he tapped the dash. We waited to be on the main streets before stomping the pedal. The wheels screeched as the car swung sideways into the lane before bolting down the street, reaching 140 in 5 seconds. Rock was shifting every second or 2 and drifted the intersection in front of him easily as he drove into the boulevard before calming down a little and keeping to speed limits. " I don't want the 5-0. I could pay any fines, but I wanna keep my baby. I just finished putting it up right." he said as he drove around the town. "I bet you know this town better than I do. Where to now?"

"Ahhhhh! Hahahahaha!" Kierra laughed, he had been right when he siad it would surprise her. Once Rock had slowed down, and she had gotten her breath back, she looked around at where they were. "Umm...make a left at the next riht, and then an immediate right. Go straight, and I'll tell you when to stop."

"You wish my order." Rock said as he did so. They hit a red light and had to wait. "Let me.. show you more what this car can do." He chuckled and started revving the engine. The car started to shake as the engine roared loudly, the hood was vibrating in front of them. People around them were staring, but Rock didn't give a damn. He was having fun and enjoying himself

Kierra had a huge smile on her face as her eyes twinkled in excitement. "This is so...cool.," she said. She saw a couple gaping at them and grinned. She saw the cars at the other side of the light stop and knew that meant their light was about to turn green. She gripped her seatbelt and braced herself, just in case.

Rock looked at her gripping her seat and looked back at the street and grinned. The light shifted green as the front wheels of the car left the ground as the back wheels spun into a cloud of burnt rubber before landing back down and bolting ahead. "Worry not, we're turning around." Rock said as the car wasn't as rushing forward and pull the handbrake and swung the car around for a 180 degree turn and went back to the corner they missed and swung into the other street. he followed her directions, keeping the car almost always sliding across the pavement in a long screech, resting an arm on the open window.

Angel in my Dreams

She nodded and spread out her beautiful black wings. She flew her and Alex up to the third floor onto one of the balconies. Letting go of his hand finally, she opened the sliding door and lead her friend inside. It was a pathetic place. It only had two rooms; a main room and a bathroom. The main room had a small dark tattered couch and a table with a simple stovetop oven and refridgerator. No television, no luxuries. Clothes were either in a neat folded pile or scattered around. In th bathroom, there was only a sink, toliet, and a shower in that very tiny space. The walls were a disgusting color and the floor was undescribable. The worst part was the only Christmas prescence in the apartment was the few small gifts on top of one of the small piles of nicely folded clothes. There was no tree or other holiday decorations.

Alexander looked around, his eyes only seeming to get duller. "This isn't a home you deserve. You deserve much more than this." He said, shaking his head in sadness. "I'm not going to allow you to live here. This is a home I should be living in, not you. You can live with me. I have enough room and it's better than this place." He said to her, taking her hand. "Come on, Lets start packing you things so we can go."

She turned to her friend. "It's fine!" she reassured, "I didn't have any money given to me since I never got an owner! It's the best I can do. Plus, I don't wanna be a bother to you. I'm use to living here by now." Alexia smiled at Alexander, hoping he'd change his mind. 'Besides, he's normal now.' she thought, 'He shouldn't be bothered by my powers and stuff...' Then, her thoughts jumped onto a new subject. 'I really wished he wouldn't be so depressed... Is this from taking the cure?' the winged girl wondered, 'Or has he really been mentally scarred this badly?...'

"No... You deserve what the others were given. I don't... I don't even use the money for anything except for getting a house that is too big for my own good... You wouldn't bother me... I wouldn't even be there..." He said, only growing more and more depressed.

Alexia sighed and said, "Alex... What happened to the silly guy who'd play with his soldiers and was eager to sit with me and eat and hang with me?" She pulled him into another hug. "It hurts to see you so depressed and put yourself down like this. What happened to you?"
