This is truly a tough one but I have to say I'm the adapter- so I'll have to say be accepted but not for who I am. That hit me hard neutral

The depth of those questions hit me hard as well, but I'll have to agree with Soul on this one: to lose myself in order to be accepted.

Personally, I can't imagine not being loved at all. Despite not being myself, I feel that acceptance is important: if someone else is able to accept and love this other "me," then, in time, maybe I can too.

I'd like to ask the next poster the same:

Would you be someone you're not in order to be accepted by the ones you truly love
or Be fine with who you are but never to feel loved or appreciated?

Both really good answers SoulRIZer and Eternal Rebellion. That question had me thinking too when I asked it and now I have to answer. Wow what a twist!
I am fine with who I am and if no one accepts me or even loves me for who I am then so be it. I rather be alone and be happy with myself rather than feigning happiness for being someone I am not.
Would you rather be honest with someone you love (and are in a long-term relationship with them) and let them free to be able to chase their dreams or lie and stay with them even though you know you are the reason they cannot advance in life?

If you love it, let it go. I wouldn't want to be the reason that someone else is unhappy.

Would you rather save an animal that will come with all sorts of behavior problems that will never be trainable, or save so many well-behaved animals that keeping up with their food and care is a financial burden?

I work in a vet clinic and I know how its like to face a behavioral problem animal.

Answer to your question would be to stay with that one animal that is not trainable because to me being there for that one thing that no one else wants to get in contact with feels much better than saving tonnes of animals that people are already looking out for. I hope this makes sense sweatdrop
