Jance continued through the foodline until he had his portion, and sat at a table in the mess, setting his pack on the floor next to him.

After finishing his meal, Nolan rises to leave the mess. "Well, there isn't much I can do about anything. I just have to keep as many people as possible alive." Nolan says to himself.
After exiting the mess, Nolan makes his way towards the billet area of the base. "I suppose that all I can do now is pray for the best..."

Kavrus listened to the conversations in the mess float about him for a while before retiring to the barracks. Locatinc his cot, eighth down on the left, he removed his spellbook and slid his pack under the frame. Alerady having prepared his spells for the day he simply flipped through pages reading the footnotes and thinking over creative uses for the spells.
