I get a word a day email from dictionary.com. I love it, so much.
Oh, and for those who don't know, and ecdysiast is a stripper.
And yes, you should use the words. Expand your vernacular!

I might have to get a word a day from dictionary.com too then seems like it'd be fun, Yahoo does it but it's run of the mill words like foliage, translucent, melancholy etc.
