I agree about the dwarven centaur; it was one of those "let's toss these things together and see what happens", and it amused me greatly. Sorry for the delay in answers, watching wall-E and dinking on the 'puter here. ^_^

I loved watching Wall-E. That was one of Disney's recent good movies. Up was equally as good Wall-E.

*I'd* be up for it! I brought the entire Pixar collection out and said to Kusa: "W, I, C, R, M, F?" (wall-E, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo; for some reason I didn't grab A Bug's Life) Looking forward to The Princess and the Frog? ^_^
EDIT: @Kire: Agreed. And, as someone mentioned, the first 15 minutes of UP *almost* made me cry. smile

I've yet to see Up T.T That shall be remedied as soon as it comes out on DVD though, no worries. And I haven't seen Cars either. I kinda don't particularly want to, but at the same time I do, just so I can actually say I've seen all the Pixar movies.
And yes, I'm looking forward to The Princess and the Frog~ They had a trailer for that when I saw Ponyo last night 3nodding
Oh and Randominmity: Lately, I've been really wanting to watch The Great Mouse Detective. After double-checking that it was Disney, I'm determined to include that in the line-up, if only because of nostalgia~

Those first 15mins did hit you and made you want to cry. That has to be one of the saddest moments in a kids movie.

My roommate Steve and I were walking around uptown singing Disney songs at around 11pm one night. I'm surprised we're still alive. >.>;

Oh dear Taeryyn >< I think the Princess and the Frog will be good I think they are trying to go back to their roots with that movie so it might be better than some of their more recent movies.
Oh Ponyo was absolutely great! I loved it. Best retelling of the Little Mermaid ever.

Ponyo was a great movie. Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli have put out amazing stuff as well.
My sister & I had recently bought Grave of the Fireflies & have yet to watch it.

Miyazaki films are great indeed~
On the subject of Disney songs, I remember back at AX, while we were waiting in line for the AMV contest, these folks started singing 'Be a Man' from Mulan (as well as plenty of other equally awesome songs~). And then later, during the pre-show, they showed a Gurren Lagann AMV to that song and we could hear those folks from earlier cheering in the back =P

We had a choice between District 9 and Ponyo. We saw Ponyo! mrgreen Beautiful, and if not as deep as some of Ghibli's work, it was still wonderful.
@Invis: I liked Cars a WHOLE lot more than I thought I was going to; it ranks right up there with the rest of Pixar's work. Let's just say that Cars is more about the journey than the destination. smile
Grave of the Fireflies is incredibly sad. Just FYI. smile
@Tae: I've found that singing show tunes in a loud voice late at night will cause people to cross the street mid-block so as to not have to pass one. Which amused this raccoon to no end. ^_^
