Indeed. I will sneak checks into my parents accounts when I get the chance or have extra money. As far as I know, the taxes are taken out by the Air Force before the check is given to me.

I would think so, most times taxes are paid before you yourself get paid at any job at least

@Everyone else: I'm going to go empty the dishwasher of its dishes and vacuum the house. I just read "The Prince's Tale" chapter in the 7th book of HP and dude, my hunch was RIGHT. I fancied the idea of Snape being there for Harry all along! *Puffs out her chest in triumph.*

Yeah, it is sad to hear he lost his fight with cancer. Pancreatic cancer sucks. At least his family was with him and the news reports it was a peaceful passing.

My father told me, after I had read him the article, that Swayze was definitely a character. My dad's 54 years old; he's been around to watch plenty of stars rise and fall.
This may come of as rude; I assure you that it is not: At least he died of pancreatic cancer instead of lung cancer. I would have said he deserved it for being sucked into the cigarette crowd.
