Do you lovely people have any suggestions for reading material? I'm in a Victorian mood. I don't want straight-up smut. I want something along the lines of adventure and maybe some fantasty-adventure.
I've already written down the Bronte sisters and Jane Austen only because I've been meaning to read them for a year now. x3

Sorry, Chex. I don't have any good suggestions, which is why I didn't respond.

@ Chex - How about some Thomas Hardy? Not quite all Victorian, but close.

I also have no idea Chex. ;; I've read like one book for pleasure in the last four years, and it was Artemis Fowl. Not exactly what you were looking for.
I've been going to school and such. Moved out of my old place, now I'm living in a house with one of my managers from work and her girlfriend. Woo~

@Waku: Is his stuff kind of romantically fluffy? I've heard of his books, vaguely, just not sure.
Also, don't worry: the rest of Gaia wasn't all that quick to throw suggestions at me either. *Shrugs.*
@Nova: Going to school? Alright~ :3

The only Hardy book I've read is Tess of the d'Urbervilles, and that is definitely not fluffy. Hardy was sort of infamous for writing about things others didn't dare. Like rape, sex before marriage, babies dying, suicide, murder...all of which are in Tess, by the way. No fantasy, though.
