@Waku: Oddly, it was Cars and Prince Caspian that initially sold me on Blu-Ray: I was looking at a demo in the store that showed DVD, and I thought, *shrug* "looks pretty good to ME." Then they showed the Blu-Ray. The audience at the race track in Cars simply popped. The banners in Prince Caspian were snapping in the breeze, and you could see the army members on the hillside, as opposed to just the massing.
And no, I DON'T own stock or sell Blu-Ray. wink
EDIT: @Jafty: apparently, carvings in the woodwork, and things of that ilk. I'll see if I can dig up the review I was reading
