I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...*Sighs.* I need some love, I can feel myself become sadder and sadder. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people who let everything affect them and think that all of is there fault. Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

wakusei I try... sweatdrop
I'm not really looking forward to A Christmas Carol.
It seems like when movies know they're going to be 3D, they strive too much to be fun in 3D...and pay attention less to, you know...story.
I could be wrong with A Christmas Carol, of course, but the trailer didn't convince me otherwise in the least.
A shame, though. Because I do like Jim Carrey. I actually saw a 3D trailer for A Christmas Carol (my aunt wanted to watched HP6 in IMAX and that was the only trailer they showed) and it didn't seem so 'OMGLook I'm THREEEEEEE-DEEEEEE OoooOoooOOOoo~' if that made any sense at all. But for that movie, I think I'd rather wait until it comes out on DVD, if only because I'm cheap, have no one to take to the movies, and whatnot.
That's all I really had to say. Now I shall go ahead and pass out for a couple hours. I needs a nap.

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...Heh, thanks guys. heart
I want to see the movie simply because I like Jim Carrey's cutesy-comedies (Horton Hears a Who was HILARIOUS). The fact that he's putting a little humor into such a dour character like Scrooge makes me want to watch it. Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

The trailer I saw for it before the Toy Story double feature in 3D was just this really long sequence of him flying up into the air and then falling and being small and running into icicles all flying out, etc.... So...yeah. Nothing necessary. Just "OMG crazy stuff! It's all coming at you! IIEEE!"
I liked Horton Hears a Who. But I've liked all Blue Sky's movies. I can't wait to see Despicable Me (even though that's not technically Blue Sky...just most of those people...). But that's with Steve Carell.

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...That movie looks like it'll be funny. The fellow reminds me of the that food critic from Rattouille. (It's the nose, I think.) 3nodding Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...*Strokes her non-existant beard.* Indeed. It just might be a ploy to confuse all who watch the movie. Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

...I'm pretty sure that was ABSOLUTELY intentional. biggrin As for A Christmas Carol, it's Robert Zemekis (sp?) directing, so I'm *cautiously* optimistic. And it could be they're focusing less on the story for the previews because there's been a b'zillion versions of it by this point. smile Oh, by the way... ^_^
Also, also wik: Checking out Guillermo del Toro's "in development" on IMDb is SERIOUSLY making me (figuratively) drool! eek
