I agree ^.^ We ahve the same thing here. And whats funny is the accent's portrayed in most movies as Australian is actually really only maybe only how 25% of us speak. Whenever I see a movie with an australian character or whatever, their voice sounds different to me also. much like America and their different states.

invisible-weirdo Well I enjoy all accents too. Just...on different levels ^^;
And fair enough, though you have to admit not all accents are equal =P Ehhh. Let's see. In order, it goes: 1. France ( heart heart heart ) 2. New Zealand 3. Britain 4. Japan 5. Germany 3nodding

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...Gah. I hate it when my dad complains how I use a frying pan. So what if the pan's old and teflon doesn't work anymore? Gah.
A little soap and elbow grease fixes everything. The thing just has to sit in some hot water. >/ Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

@Lazarus: Australia ties Germany for spot 5. Also, it's silly that in most American movies, southerners are portrayed as having accents - but northerners are not. Like.. New York, Texas, & California somehow decide how the rest of the nation speaks. XD
@Chex: I concur!

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...@Lazzy: You would love to have a little Japanese wife. That's okay. I thought it would be the coolest thing to married to a Japanese businessman and I could be his cute litte American wife.
Personally, I'd be afraid to go to Japan and wear my hair down. I'd get a load of questions from the girls, asking me if it's my real hair. Dx
On accents, though, I really don't have a preference, as long as I can understand them. x3 (I really like southern accents. Maybe a European accent, too.) Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

Yeah I'd love a little Japanese wife, although what I would like it if I couldn't understand her sometimes, I feel so bad when customers come in and they have accents and I can't understand them properly.

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...@Lazzy: As long as you don't yell at them and talk slowly at the same time. I see so many people do that, it's really obnoxious. Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

@Lazzy: It'll be tough finding the stereotypical girl who'll fix you dinner and wait for you while you're at work. I've heard stories from my teachers who have recently been there that they've changed so much.
The girls say that they're put under too much pressure to be perfect like that, so~ Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

Chex: Sweet deal then! I thought it was more noticeable... >.> though I still think the difference is a punch in the face it's so obviousss.
>.> It is hard to find a girl who will do all that. I used to think (up until a month or two ago) that I was one of those girls. :[ It's way too much pressure, and super lacking in the respect area, I've found.
