I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...@Jim: Sorry for disappearing, it was dinner time.
*Sighs.* A nice hot pad on my thighs feel so nice after chasing and kneeling after a 3 month old puppy. It's going to really stink keeping her in the kennel every night after tonight (no pun intended). And before I go to bed, I've gotta put her out to make sure she goes potty. Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

The older I get, the less interested I am in ever owning a baby animal. After ending up as the caretaker for my roommate's blue pitbull puppy (since she left the house for hours, not even counting the 8+ hours she was at work, and ignoring it would have been animal cruelty...) the year before last, I never want to clean up after a puppy again.
xp
@Dai: I like kennel training for some dogs. It worked extremely well with the sheltie we had, and was unnecessary with our border collie-German shepherd cross.

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...Because she's so little, I can't scold her properly without scaring her to death. She's peed a couple of times today in the house and poo'd (under my dad's desk no less, so I can to move stuff to get under it). I've been walking out with her to the front yard to at least get her to go pee.
It's been working. It's just going to take time for her to understand that there's a routine. I have to set my alarm for 4 in the morning to get her used to eating when the other dogs eat ('cause my dad gets up to go to work, so he feeds them).
*Yawns.* I only begin to mind when I get a single hour of sleep.
@Dai: This dog fits in the palm of my hand. My bed is pretty hazardous, not to mention I'm deathly afraid I'll roll over on her. Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...Chihuahua. We're not sure if she's a teacup or a regular one. She's as cute as a button~ My mom got Tawny (what we've chose to name her because she's a few different shades of brown) last night. Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

We have a miniature Dachshund. My mom has slept with her since the first night. Rules are for suckers... like Chihuahuas....
