I've only owned one other dog, and that dog was such a mutt even the vet couldn't figure out what he was. That dog was the s**t though, his name was Wilbur. We had to put him down when I was in fifth grade because he had cancer.
I may be thinking of pit bulls, but I dunno. They may BOTH be illegal here, actually.
Heya Whispering!

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...I don't think there are any breeds that are illegal in Nevada. I know ferrets are illegal in California, though. xd Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

I'm not really a fan of breed bans. People who are shady and bad owners are still going to get the breeds they want and be irresponsible with them. And people who have great dogs will be penalized, just because their dog is a certain breed.
I've lived with both rottweilers and pit bulls, and although I would hate to see either animal in the hands of a bad owner, I loved both dogs. They're not inherently vicious.

Ferrets.... Why?
It's usually the person who trained the dog's fault, but most people don't want to believe it. They figure that by making that breed illegal, they won't have the problem while refusing to look at the real problem.

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...@Roro: There was an incident where stray rodents got together and invested property with little ferret babies. I guess, since the incubation period is so short and they grow so quickly, they became a problem. Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

Rats are illegal in Alberta. It's the only rat-free place in the world, besides Antarctica and some places in the Arctic...
