I'm doing ok despite the fact that I was in bed for waaaaay too long sweatdrop Oh well. I might go poof in a bit though (I has groceries to get and things to clean...Boo.)

Doin fairly well, just got a new game yesterday and have been playing it since. This giant octopus keeps kicking my a** though...
EDIT: Phantasy Star Zero. The boss of this level is a giant octopus that for some reason has pincers on the end of it's tentacles.

Yeah, I've tried to fight it about 4 times now (One time, I even had Linny helping me out) and I've beaten it once. Now, I'm taking another swing at it. Unsuccessfully, I might add.

Haha we should hope. I swear on Final Fantasy VII I've fought this boss around 10 times and I still can't beat it... Dx

Many times in a situation like this, you should look over your strategy and weapons and make sure they are against the monsters weakness. I was playing Chaos Legion, and there was a robo-spider that kept kicking my butt. But I changed my attacking creature and ended up making it MUCH easier for the boss, but sacrificed efficiency in the areas leading up to it. When in doubt, go back and fight something a little easier. @Penned: I always loved the boss you fight when learning Red XII's history. The game hands you that victory on a silver platter. ^_^

Kusa- It totally does... just use the mega potion and you're good to go. xD Except I found that out after I fought it the hard way... XDD Even better.

Well, I'm going to try using a bit of magic on it too, maybe hit it with lightning a few times. Hopefully it'll work out better than just hacking away at the tentacles for an hour xd

Octopus.... Lightning... I'm thinking Sushi? xd @Penn: I once tried beating Ruby weapon without having a battle plan. gonk gonk crying sweatdrop That was NOT such a good day. I don't think I ever actually beat him, because the Walkthroughs on how to get Knights of the Round was so sketchy... Every time I tried it I ended up somewhere COMPLETELY different.

Needed to feed the fish) I don't remember that boss... It's been so... SO long since I played it. I wanted to get Aretoo to play it so that I could show him Advent Children.
