Sorry for the delay, got distracted by Cake Boss before walking Gabe. ^_^
@Tae: Yeah, that's winter for ya on the boat... though it's not usually THIS barren. And ONE of my three shifts is actually inventory. sweatdrop
Thank you, Invis & GRM! Possibly inspired slightly by Cake Boss, I'm going a little "fancier" with the ham than I usually do, scoring it and inserting whole cloves. Haven't done that in FOREVER. ^_^

*wanders back after drooling over the new store items*
I need to stop buying dresses. I really do. -_- I should hold a "Make me manly!" avatar contest.
@Aretoo: Teeheehee. Boat....barren. x3
Actually, it's not funny, but it struck me as an interesting mental image.

@Tae: *shrug* If you like the dresses... get the dresses! And it's ALWAYS fun to see what others will do to your avatar with your items. whee
And barren: well... when we have 4 shifts in a week, while in June we might have 4 cruises in a DAY, and have 20-30 people on a boat that can hold up to 350 (seated) (cozy, but will fit)... yeah, pretty barren. And it IS an interesting mental image! Actually, one of the things we run into is that people don't want to cruise when it's wet and rainy, seemingly thinking that they'll be wet and cold while cruising. Not seeming to take into account that we ARE a restaurant, completely enclosed and with air conditioning. ^_^

I dunno, I don't feel like going out much at all when it's cold and wet and rainy, even if the place I'm going to is indoors. But that's just me. And it definitely sucks that it's only a couple shifts per week. sad
And I like seeing what people come up with using my inventory. ^^ Quite a few ATGers have tektek'd some really nice things for me; I save all them in my journal.

I agree about not liking to go out when it's wet and cold; I have actually had people be surprised that it's not wet on the boat, though, too. ^_^ (I suspect these are some people destined to eventually show up on "notalwaysright.com"...)
That's a great idea, saving the avatars in your journal! Do you make a note of the items, too, so you could recreate it if you wanted? smile

Yup. ^^ I just copy their link from tektek, which lists all the items. I save avatars I make, too, because I have a horrible memory. sweatdrop
In my defense, I usually have on upwards of 10 items and I change a few times a week, so that's a lot to remember.

I usually rely on tektek to save my outfits (that tag saving thing they've got going), but saving them in your journal seems like a much better alternative...
*listening/singing along to Disney songs on youtube* Curse the guy that put up full versions of The Princess and the Frog songs *shakes fist* I love those songs...

I've been tagging them on tektek as well, but I forget a lot of them, and the site tends to be glitchy. But it is so much faster to just tag them on tektek than put them in my journal.
I'm getting too many of them, so I tried to organize them by colour, but that's a pain in the a**.

I usually keep them saved as an outfit on Gaia itself before putting it into tektek. It just gets annoying with some of the limitations the tektek puts on you (not being able to pose the avatar, not having the skins from the Halloween event, that kind of stuff).
*goes to look up A Whole New World to get off my Princess and the Frog loop*

I'm hoping the Gaia "closet" option is popular enough that they give us more than four "slots" to save them into. smile
I used honey and orange juice for glaze... and MAN that's smelling good... *drooooool*

I haven't seen Princess and the Frog, and I'm not really that excited about it. >.>;
Tektek is missing quite a few poses and entire items. I've pointed out several of them to Tekton, and I hate to be a nuisance, so I usually just make the best of what's there, now. None of the bouquets are there, for example. Like you mentioned, you can't change your pose. And half the time you need to trick it into doing what you want.
Like, say, I have the biancamella item. If I search "biancamella" in my inventory+tektek, it will only show me two or three of the poses.
But if I search "outside my inventory", it will give me all the poses. :s

The 'closet' feature is awesome, it's just...yeah. 4 save slots sucks gonk It's good if I'm feeling rather indecisive at least (i.e., switching outfits every 10 minutes sweatdrop )
EDIT: Ugh yeah I hate how the EI's show up in your inventory D:
And The Princess and the Frog is amazing <3 It makes me happeh~
