Oh yes I read the manga some days ago and thought, "Johnny can't be dead! That'd be like the end of gaia!"
He's not my favorite NPC but I like having all the NPCs around. Maybe it's lame to be attached to characters but *shrugs* I can't help it and I don't want them to go away/get killed... permanently.

Gambino will be back, probably through some insane plot twist or scientific experiment, but he'll be back.
And if not, I'm posting pictures of me parading through town wearing a sign saying "I WAS WRONG. I AM A t**t".
