Oh! By the way, I'm going to be attending Wizard World Portland this year. I'm only planning on doing one photo-op this time around. With whom? Matt Ryan!

Hopefully I'll be able to get my act together and be able to finish my Spring!Keyleth headdress in time for it. I'll be wearing just a pretty green floral dress I have this time around. But I do plan on making the full outfit.

Originally when I first started planning my first Critical Role cosplay, I was going to do Keyleth's "spring" outfit a.k.a. first official outfit. At the time I started planning on making the headdress, her "autumn" outfit a.k.a. second official outfit had just been released. So, I decided to make both headdresses at the same time. Because of the time of year and her second outfit being an easier design, her Autumn outfit ended up being completed first. And... the Spring outfit has been left in limbo since then. I've got the base of the headdress and the supplies for decorating it but haven't completed it. And I've got a couple things for the outfit.
Here's to hoping I finish the Spring outfit this year.

I have a phone interview tomorrow for a position I applied for. I'm still on the fence on how I feel about the position. It's a file clerk at a law firm. Law isn't really a field I thought I would go into. Though neither was Mental Health but I had more of a connection with that area than law. But the position sounds good and the pay should be nice... which is better than what I'm getting at the theater. But I don't know.

Just had a couple gals come in inquiring more information about our facility as they have a family member that may eventually need to move to an assisted living facility. As I typically do, I informed them our facility focuses on Mental Health. Usually when I do this, people are pretty chill about it. The older gal (the mother?) seemed to staunch when I said this and was like "What do you mean by Mental Health? Like Parkinson's Disease?" First time I've ever seen someone give a negative reaction like that.

I feel like I need to make a special pamphlet to be able to give to folks who just want a quick overview of what we offer. I feel bad I keep stealing the pamphlets from the folders we have that we traditionally give to future residents and what not. Or use when there's a tour.
Hmm... maybe I'll make that my project for this afternoon.

Actually... nevermind. It wouldn't be something approved by the company marketing team I'm sure. So I don't want to cause any trouble with handing out "unofficial" flyers.
I'll just have to restock our folders later when I have access to the extras that are in my supervisor's office.

1. I know for sure I would be an Elf. Wood Elf, specifically. I've always felt a connection to the Fantasy elf race, whether it's the D&D universe or the LOTR universe. Which... in reality, is the same thing, since D&D was inspired by LOTR. xd
As for class... I've never been able to settle down on one. I would say Druid because of my love for nature and having grown up my entire life surrounding it. But with my current job at the assisted living, I feel like a Cleric would play a role too. Not to mention all of the Cleric-like relatives I've had on my Mom's side of the family. However, there could also be a bit of Bard with my creative side - writing, singing, dancing, drawing, painting, cosplay.

2. I've casually heard about D&D throughout my life because of the various pop culture references made to it. However, I didn't actively get involved in the game until recently, pretty much when I started watching Critical Role about 4 years ago. So far I've only played one one-shot game... but hopefully I'll be able to join an official campaign at some point and give some real game time for the characters waiting in my head for adventure.

3. Well, I've only played one one-shot game... so I can't say at this time. While the pre-generated character was an elf wizard... I played her like my own character who is a wood elf cleric (with potential future of dabbling in druid).
The other two characters in my head are a tiefling fighter and a Frankenstein barbarian. Oh yeah! You read that right. biggrin The latter would be such an interesting concept to play especially with the version I would want to do... and how the big reveal of what she is would be like.

4. Hmm... probably Strength. Sometimes I don't feel very strong and probably wouldn't be able to defend/fight for myself very well.

7. Of the ones I can think of right now, I would go with Thaumaturgy.
