I've returned from my adventure to the mid-west, and an hour stop over in the east coast (stupid flight had me transfer flights in Cincinnati for some reason)

Thanks Aretoo...sleepy time now.
For some reason I couldn't sleep on the plane...
But! Since the flight was so long, I caved in, and spent $6 to watch Sherlock Holmes on my own personal tv thing that Delta has on some of their bigger aircraft. Really good movie. I enjoyed it.

I'm looking forward to watching Sherlock Holmes (with a little trepidation, admittedly, because I adore the books), and I agree with "sleepy time", as I almost dozed off sitting up just moments ago. ^_^

Arcanas aretoo I'm looking forward to watching Sherlock Holmes (with a little trepidation, admittedly, because I adore the books), and I agree with "sleepy time", as I almost dozed off sitting up just moments ago. ^_^ Having not read the books myself sadly, watching the movie actually made want to read them, so I may hunt down some of that literature. I lucked out; I inherited my grandfather's 8-volume set. ^_^ (And I'm such a geek; while I was reading them, I was actually notating them as to what year they took place, and how the tales all fit together, though they're all designed to stand apart, more or less. I still have the post-its in place from that exercise.) mrgreen EDIT: Oh, and I heard a great summation of the latest Holmes movie: Those who know Sherlock Holmes will hate it. Those who REALLY know Sherlock Holmes will find it an interesting take on the characters. Those who know nothing of Sherlock Holmes will love Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. ^_^

I want to read the books after seeing the movie. Which was awesome, by the by.

-rolls in-
I've read a few of the books, since my library had a book that had a whole collection of them. But I never finished it as I lost my 'mystery spark' and latched back to Fantasy. I enjoyed it while it lasted and will hopefully pick it up again.
