I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts.
There they are a'standing in a row!I had grilled peaches for dessert tonight. That was certainly interesting. My dad and I agree that it would have been GREAT with ice cream. "Give them a twist, a flick of the wrist!"

There they are a'standing in a row!Oh man. Everything was going fine yesterday until 12:22. Work called the house, asking me if I could come in early because there was only one courtesy clerk there (a.k.a grocery bagger). Instead of my usual four hours last night, I worked a full shift = 8 hours, plus a half hour lunch.
There's a girl that was at the store before me and she works 8 hours shifts. I don't know how she does it because that's just too long to be doing the kind of work we do. "Give them a twist, a flick of the wrist!"

ulg, long work days that just wear you down. I know how those go, I have two jobs. I work 8 hours, five days a week at one, and the other I work shifts that can be anywhere from five to ten hours. This past long weekend I worked from 7am-8pm Friday, 6:30am-6pm Saturday, took sunday off, and worked noon-6pm Monday. I would have worked Sunday too, but both my boyfriend and my parents were like "you will kill over if you don't take a day off!" I did almost pass out on Saturday when I got home.... ^_^;

Fun times...I remember when they had me pull 12 hours shifts 7 days a week...AND at different stores...

x_x I think I would kill over if I did that, and yet I want to work more hours, but my parents wont let me....oh well when I move out next summer I can work as much as I freakin' want! ^-^

lol...I did mention the different stores, right?
After I worked 12 hours at my store, I'd get a call and work the same amount of time at a different one...
so actually, I worked 24 hours a day for about a month straight once...
