About 3 more hours left of my shift then I can go home and relax. Just feeling drained from all of this nose-blowing and limited capability of breathing.

Another reason for wanting to be home: To be able to just let my nose run without having to worry about keeping up appearances for anyone who comes up to the Front Desk. sweatdrop

I'm doing a bit better today. Not 100% but at least I can breath through my nose most of the time.

I finally got around to watching the second season of the new She-Ra series. Just as fantastic as the first. A bit surprised by how short it was I was able to watch the entire thing from the moment I got home to have dinner to the time my parents got back from their outing. surprised I was all like, "Oh, guess I'll stop when I'm finished with this episode" and then realized it was the last episode of the season.

Some of my Critter friends are attending a Renaissance Faire this weekend. I wish I could join them but between work and getting sick, I won't be able to join them this time around. sad
I'm hoping they have plans to attend another ren faire sometime this year, so I can attend. Never been to a ren faire before.

Quote: Have you read the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer?I've only read the first two books so far. I want to read the last two... it's just a matter of me getting my hands on them. And I don't want to just borrow them... I want the books to own, seeing as I already have the first two. I now have all of the books and have read them all. I even have a Wuthering Heights copy that has the cover image in the style of the Twilight books. xd Have you seen the movies based off of the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer?Yes, I have. On a scale of 1-5, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best, how would you rate the Twilight series?3.5 I need to re-read/re-watch the series... but I think my rating would stay about the same.If you enjoyed the Twilight books/movies, why?The storyline takes place in an area that's close to where I live, so I can connect to the characters, especially when it comes to the weather and the setting. In fact, some of the filming locations are a few minutes away from me. So... that's cool, driving past the area and remembering the scene(s) from the movie. A nice collection of characters, each with their own personality. While the portrayal of the vampires and werewolves are slightly different from the usual image, I think Meyer did a good job putting her own spin to the mythology. Especially when a lot of humans now a days are becoming vegetarians. Bet a lot of vampire lovers and actual "vampires" would like to know what "vegetarian" alternatives they can choose... especially if they don't want to drink human blood. xd sweatdrop Would you suggest the Twilight books/movies to other people?Yeah, I would suggest people to read it. Doesn't mean that they have to be a fan of it or anything. But it's always nice for people to be familiar with popular trends and get a new perspective to common mythology tales. Mark all the choices below that apply to why you like Twilight.[x] Werewolves [ ] Suspense [x] New Literary Idea [x] Vampire/Supernatural Genre [x] Good description/detail [x] Funny [x] Tone of Writing [x] Romance [/] Good characters [x] Easy Read [x] Story Idea [ ] Drama [ ] Escapism [x] Attention Grabbing [ ] Action

Quote: Question: If you could perform with any person or group, who would it be and why? Answer: There's so many people I would love to perform with... Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Pussycat Dolls, Brad Paisley, Mandy Moore, Jason Mraz, Katy Perry, Celtic Woman. They're great inspirations and know how to tell a story perfectly through their songs. Back when I wasn't too specific about my music selections, lol. Today for artist, I would say Celine Dion, Taylor Swift, or Lady Gaga and then for group, I would say Maroon 5 or Pentatonix.Quote: Question: Of the past 8 seasons, who's been your favorite Idol contestant thus far? Answer: Danny Gokey. I think I only said Danny at the time because I was slightly crushing on him when we watched that season. While I still enjoy listening to his music, I no longer crush on him.
Honestly, my favorite Idol contestant of all time is Adam Lambert.Quote: Question: Who is the person that you would most like to meet? Answer: In the music department? Hmm... Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, or Danny Gokey. Just in general? Johnny Depp, J.K. Rowling, and lately Robert Downey Jr. Music department - Right now I would say Celine Dion, Taylor Swift, or Lady Gaga... though Adam Lambert would be cool too. TV/Film - Benedict Cumberbatch will always be high on my list. Currently I would also add Ethan Peck and Anson Mount, just because I'm in a minor Star Trek mood lately.Quote: Question: Favorite Male Artist: Answer: Jason Mraz Changing this to Adam Lambert.

Quote: # If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?I would like to stay living around here. I love it here. It's a great community and lots of neat stuff to do. While I would like to travel to other places, I can't imagine living elsewhere... especially when I haven't been to many places as it is. While most of this still stands, I would probably say I would totally be willing to live somewhere in Britain, if it wasn't here where I am right now. I've never been there but from what I've seen on TV, it definitely seems right up my alley.

Quote: # If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?Allow gay marriage. Love is love. Just because it becomes legalized, doesn't mean all gays are forced to get married. But those who do want to, should be able to. Oh... and get rid of prejudice. It's really sad that even 9 years after posting this, we're still dealing with these sort of issues. sad
