I just received a new graphics card and PSU for mai computer. I'll be upgrading later. biggrin

Nah, nothing cool planned here. Just finishing up my last exam tonight and then relaxing for the rest of my break. It's been pretty stressful for me the last couple of weeks. Got dumped by my boyfriend of two years right before exam break and Christmas. razz I just need a break.

Oh nice. I know pretty much nothing about computers, to be honest. xD

Well, basically, the moving pictures on the screen will look nicer and will have more frames per second giving smoother animation, and the PSU will allow more power for my computer to make sure nothing explodes or becomes damaged from the hardware pieces drawing too much power.

Ah okay. I don't do a ton of gaming or video watching on my laptop, but I do know it has an ATI graphics card in it... and apparently that's a good thing? I'm not sure, but the guy at the store told me it was.

Yeah, I'm already starting to feel a little better. It's been nice getting to hang out with my other friends.

In most cases, it's a good thing. Integrated cards by Intel are pretty bad, they're better nowadays with more support for programs that have higher demand for graphics power.
