I work in a call centre on an inbound campaign. I do presales and licensing and technical routing. I don't mind the TR, but presales sucks. I used to do consumer customer service (dealing with home users), for the same company, and that was even worse. xp

Huh, I guess I can see that being an annoying job. I work in a deli at a grocery store... I slice meat and cheese. razz It's not so bad but for the fact that I come home smelling like meat at the end of the day. And customers are no fun... razz

Yeah. I get very, very sick of people screaming at me about stupid s**t that has nothing to do with me or even the company I work for.

Well, that's a good thing. Most people seem to have absolutely no problem being nasty, rude, and mean to me and my coworkers just because they aren't face-to-face with us. I've had quite a few different jobs, and working with the general public in any capacity can be frustrating. But before I started working at the call centre, I never would have guessed at the sheer number of people who are so wilfully ignorant and mean. :/
Anyway. Enough about that. xp I got to play the Sims 3 today, and I wish I had a computer that would run it. xD

Goes ok. Just nomming tostitos and contemplating going to bed, since I have to be up early. How about you?
Edit: Penny: I was a HUGE fan of the Sims and the Sims 2, but my pitiful laptop can't run the latter. MIGHT be able to run the Sims, but I lost the disks.
I love the customization in the third one. <3

That really surprised me the first time I played it. I don't remember if it was possible in the Sims 1 (although I am pretty sure it was), but it definitely was in the Sims 2. I'm not sure why I was surprised, but it was great. :3
My stepfather really likes the game. He isn't much of a computer user or gamer, but he recreates families from sitcoms or movies, and builds crazy detailed houses.

Yeah. x3 The Sims 1 was basic in terms of customization, but they had a lot of crazy expansions. Like Makin' Magic. Making spells to turn your neighbour into a toad? Epic.
The best part of both 1 and 2 was the custom content available online from Sims fans. A lot of it was much, much nicer than the content available from EA. Just...amazing stuff. I assume it's the same for 3, I just haven't explored, yet. x3
