Gold doesn't recirculate that well here. @.@ you know....you're right...to an extent. the people that use gold generally give it to people that horde it to save up for better items =/ It's like the US during the Revolutionary War, we kept printing out money, so it became more and more useless. >.<

The current gold system encourages people to do more on Gaia than just bump. If you post-whore, then yeah, your gold drops down to nothing (yes, it is possible, and yes, I've hit that point more times than I can count >.<). But, if you post for a while, then take a break to play one of the Gaia games or whatever, when you come back to posting, the amount of gold you get for posting will have increased.
If you post in between doing other things, then your post-gold barely decreases at all (though the posts have to be quite intermittent for that).
I think the change might've been in an effort to stymie the effect that post-botters had on the economy, though now there's (for example) fishing botters to contend with, too. >.<

the problem is that, for sopme strange reason unknown to me and many other gaians that have tried to help me with this problem, the game jsut locks up on me after i play it for a while.
it does that in towns, it does that in the casino games, it does that while i'm fishing, and it does that with just about every little 'game' thing in general on this site Dx
they've told me to just clear my 'cache' on my internet browser, but no matter how many times i do that, the problem persists.
so it's just pointless, really =/ |
