Do female RPCs have to be semi-naked?
  Sure.
  I hate this way
  I don't have a specific opinion.

Hellraver
It'd be cooler to have more naturally looking hero/ine/s. But a fattie with bad skin and androgyne properties won't sell the game.

Also I'd like to see another thing happen if the hero does action and crashes the glass rooftop of a mall! What's with the people getting hit by shatters and splinters?
Darn it! Why can't we have an RPG starring a fat guy with bad skin?! It'd be brilliant! As the game progresses he gradually gets thiner and more fit because of all the running around he had to do in order to complete his quest! Maybe he even meets up with a good dermatologist along the way and he solves his bad skin problem too! xd There's tons of story potential just based on the wacky premise alone! 3nodding

The more problems the characters have at the beginning of the game the more potential there could be for character development as they struggle to resolve their issues.

There should be an entire RPG that parodies the perfect good looking hero convention. Maybe at the beginning of the game our dashing young heroes are defeated by the final boss and it's left up to a 30 year old couch potato to save the day.

Let's see who the party members could be!

Well, our pudgy hero knows the party always has a scantily clad female and being a lonely but highly naive and misled guy he thinks he can go to the local bar and find one. He succeeds but she turns out to be a licentious bully who hides her own self esteem problem behind her promiscuity.

He needs a strong man so he ventures into the woods to find a lumber jack. Those guys are brawny right? It turns out the rugged strong man is a vicious alcoholic who lost his high paying office job because he never shaved or bothered to clean his clothes.

There should be a slick guy, a sort of streetwise trickster who knows his way around so our hero finds one in in casino or perhaps a back room poker game. Our wild card however is a compulsive gambler and womanizer who constantly ducks under the table or hides around the corner when he spots an old flame of his all of whom seem to have a vendetta against him.

Usually the party has a gruff older guy who lends his experience and wisdom to the party so our protagonist finds himself a grumpy somewhat bigoted fellow who carries the anguish of estranging his own son for coming out of the closet. If only he would open his mind a little they could be a family again.

Of course a lot of the drama would stem from the party's inability to get along with each other and maybe at one point it all falls apart leaving the hero in dire need but of course just when he needs them most they all find a reason within themselves to return and come to his aid. 3nodding

Well, there's the Shadow Hearts series, where they use scantily clad as an excuse to poke fun at RPG cliches.

I kinda mentioned that earlier. sweatdrop

Like the part in Shadow Hearts: Covenant when the female protagonist complains that she has to wear that mini-skirt. xd

Edit: the list of RPG cliches is great by the way! xd

just go with it you cant change the way games r made unless you make the game so just go with the flow or complain but i dont recommend that choice... sweatdrop

I usually prefer to play RPGs that allow you to change the characters physical attributes. It makes a character feel more like a unique one.
