HSM sucks, but I must endure it because my girlfriend loves it, which I fail to understand what it is she loves about it, the music sucks, the actor's "acting" isn't that great, and the story is just predictable. Anyone able to explain the appeal to me?
Edit: After reading the story, I have to raise a bullshit flag, mostly because it was published by the National Enquirer(sp?) and it's really hard for me to trust a tabloid magazine about anything really. Funny little story anyway.

What I don't understand is the idea that having naked pictures of yourself (even if it's for your boyfriend, rather than just...nekkid pictures) automatically makes you not a role-model for younger kids. Since when is nudity evil, or even wrong? confused

Nudity isn't evil, but the purpose for being so is. She gave him pictures to arouse sexual attention.

Again - why is that evil? She's of legal age (I know it varies state-by-state, but I think the standard/highest age is 18 ), and I'd assume her boyfriend is too because otherwise there'd be stories about police investigating it instead of just "OMG SHE R NEKKID!!" stories. If they're in a relationship, why shouldn't she try to keep him interested? And besides, it's not like she got piss-drunk and puked all over the place (public spectacle) or killed someone (definitely wrong) - she apparently tried to give her bf a romantic gift that apparently got leaked.

That's true, but there are those uber- Christians out there who still believe any type of sexuality before marriage is wrong. That's probably why there are people freaking out about it.

Part of the problem as to why this whole thing with Vanessa is big is that people tend to think that if an actor who performed in a children's movie/television show is doing things unsuitable for children then it's wrong.

alrighty, i went and checked out the pic @ perezhilton.com and i don't think its her.
the head shape is kinda weird and its just fuzzy enough so that its hard to tell if its reeeeeally her or not, so i'm gonna say not.
plus, its not like a naughty pic a normal 18yr old would take for her boyfriend. ya know, something with a webcam or something ((in other words, a pic you take all on your own)). its like, a full body shot as though someone else took it, and i doubt she'd be that brave. 3nodding
so yeah, i don't believe it. its a malicious rumor and whoever started it ought to be ashamed of themselves! stressed
