its because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. Yay for being (semi) right!

I thought it was the reflection of the ocean or somethin.

i thought it was the other way round, so the ocean is more blue when the sky is clear, and more grey/green when the sky is overcast?
