see, this is my problem.

i have tons o' items as i am an item whore. sweatdrop and i often forget that the cute bundle of pixels i got from a mc a year or two ago IS a rare, awesome item now.

It's been months since I last received either kind of PM, but I think the scammer type was more recent for me. I seem to get more of the scam PMs when actively participating in the Exchange forum, and the begging PMs are seemingly random, but more common outside the guild.

I always get the really lame scams, too - the ones where they, like, aren't even trying. Everything's spelled wrong, no capitalization, no punctuation, no fancy graphics...it's pathetic. gonk

the only one i can remember is one that i got that said that the person wanted to trade an angelic microphone or something for a 30k item, but the microphone was apparently in a gift box and they refused to offer a trade without it. I laughed all the way to the report button
