I'm sure they'd be really...icky and watery...and...yeah...not a lot of fun to eat.

No, they most certainly are not fun to eat. xd My science class expanded gummi bears like that as a part of an experiment in 8th grade, and some curious, unfortunate fella decided to try one. He was not pleased.

Personally, I love sugar sculptures. I remember watching a huge competition for them on television once, where the artists not only had to make elaborate and tall sculptures (there was a height requirement), but they also had to go over a sort of obstacle course with them to test their stability. Since then, I've been infatuated with them~....

@ Slim~ I use to watch that all the time on the food network. There are tons of different shows like that. I saw one where they had to make sugar and chocolate sculptures. Very interesting, I say.

OHH the Food network has tons of really awesome shows for edible artsy stuff. They had a show that interviewed some people from a cake decorating competition that was interesting. And the cakes where incredible.
