I think a lot of Within Temptation songs are epic, I love 'Our Solemn Hour', especially the gunfire part, that's amazing!
I also love Mae's 'The Sun and the Moon'. I love the ending to it! I reckon all their song's (and Within Temptation's) are inspiring!

Why?
Because they are magic!
There songs, they are the most amazing songs I have ever heard!
If you just here the words to Stairway to Heaven or Thank You, its pure beauty.
And hearing all those energy filled songs makes me wanna rock out!
The band may be gone, but the song remains the same.

U2 is not my favorite band but we all know bono has done some pretty epic things.But Nivana is epic because all the hard ships kurt colbian went through and how that reflected on his songs. But I think Mariylin Manson is the most epi because he is not afraied to be himself. Alot of people are very sterotipic about him but all of his songs have meanings in them, you just have to understand it.Like he said himself"I rather sewer than insult someone!". That is why I think Maralyin Manson is the most epic musian of all time. After all who hasen't heard of him! burning_eyes

I agree with you Thewonderfulartofapcot, Led zepplien is magical! IU am a musian and led Zeplien has help me with everything, I'm pretty sure I was born while my mom was listening to Heartbreaker!

Most epic band: Apocalyptica
They can allow themselves everything because they're unique. I think people will still buy them if they would go a more commercial way (but they don't need to, they're awesome enough)
Most epic songs:
Hallowed be thy name - Both Iron Maiden and Machine Head Versions, not CoF, I don't like them.
Memory Imprints (Never end), A therapy for pain - Fear Factory, both spread a big carpet of sound.
Implements of Destruction - Chimaira, large a** track, that blows away the head.
Seksis, Love-, Zen - Strapping young lad, just like queen, but wilder and rougher... ...and being evil
