I don't know if this really fits in but when I'm going to the washroom, or if someone gets up to go to the washroom when we're out I'm always afraid that they'll leave me. I have my parents to thank for that.

I can't STAND eating at a restaurant when someone with me isn't eating. I mean, at some cheap place for a snack it's okay, but otherwise it drives me nuts! I'm pretty vocal about the pet peeve, though...so luckily I don't have to deal with it often. I just feel like a pig if someone isn't eating, even if some people with me are eating too.

And like Thaliat, I also don't like higher levels of PDA. I instantly feel like the couple would much rather be off ********, and they'd rather I be not there so that they could.

I feel awkward when I have to ask for a ride at any time. I don't like driving, but I like being in control of when I come and go without having to worry about someone having to wait on me to be ready or making someone leave at the end of an event before they're ready.
I also highly dislike accepting money or charity. I always make sure I have enough extra spending money for social situations so I can take care of myself.

Tell me, exactly what does freedom mean...

I also feel really awkward around females, even my girlfriend (when I'm dating) I dunno, that's probably my inferiority complex speaking though. sweatdrop

...if I'm not free to be as twisted as I want to be?

I suddenly noticed That I don't feel akward eating in front of others.... weird.

But I don't like asking for help for any reason.
I also hate it when someone else is anywhere near me when I'm putting on makeup.
I don't like watching my Favorite Tv shows when other people are around either. (I think I worry about them thinking I'm a freak or something)
When I'm in public I always worry about the way I walk. Like if my feet are pointing the right way or if I look ok... course then I worry so much I do something stupid anyways.....

I am incredibly awkward asking anyone for anything. Unless it's like 'pass the salt' I can't being myself to ask. Normally it's asking for a ride or asking for help on an assignment (teacher or student alike).

Interrupting someone I'm not close to also freaks me out. Even if it's a 'nothing' conversation and I have something more important to say (like instructions or something), I just stand awkwardly until they notice me or someone else comes up and interrupts for me.

I'd say my weirdest ones are having work I was confused or not 100% sure of being graded, in particular by classmates, or by turning something in late. :/ I feel so guilty. Dunno why.

I also cringe when I see someone (in real life, or in movies, plays, or anything) doing something I think people will laugh at. Like when there's some sort of dancing in a movie, and some stupid boys in the back laugh at them. I CAN'T STAND THAT.

I'm like that, too. I find it really hard to watch movies when I know the main character (or even a minor character) is about to face public humiliation of some sort. It's physically uncomfortable. =x

Being the most drunk person in the room or the most sober. Or being drunk in a room where even one person is sober.

For me meeting people is SO awkward. I feel like whenever I'm meeting someone for the first time they expect me to say or do something fantastic! I know they don't but I still can't help thinking it.

I know! Dx I feel so bad, even if they don't. It's strange.

I also feel incredibly awkward asking questions. Especially in a class setting. Even if I'm not the only person confused about the subject, I still won't ask questions because then I'll feel like an idiot. Even if it was a valid question, I feel stupid.

I also feel awkward around my friends' parents and stuff >.> Cuz y'know with just random people on the street, I know I don't have to talk to them. Just give them a smile, politely say a few words, and walk away. But....yeah >>;

Awesome... I'm not alone in some of these things.

Things that have already been mentioned that make me feel awkward: Being around people who are being overly affectionate in public, asking for help, asking questions, and porn.

Other things that I don't think were mentioned yet:
Looking someone in the eye when talking to them. Some people it doesn't bother me, like with my husband, but other people that I don't know as well, it will make me feel really awkward if they look me right in the eye or try to.
Being complimented.
Giving a straight answer to things that I'm excited about (for example, several years ago my dad asked me if I wanted to go to six flags with him and I was really excited to go, but couldn't give a simple "yes, I would like to go" answer and felt awkward when he insisted on an answer or else I couldn't go. gonk ).
Having to tell people my name (like when having to introduce yourself or getting forms filled out at an office or something)
Talking on the phone.
