Well...just today I woke up at 9:00 on my day off while I've been sick for the last week just to make sure that I was at Toys R Us early to pick up my Pokemon Platinum preorder. (I was first in line, bitches. Rock on.)

This is after spending all day yesterday playing Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and watching random episodes of said anime.

I have so many manga that my bookshelf is bowed under the weight of it.

I bought the Pokemon special edition DS even though I already had an onyx one. (IN MY DEFENSE THE SCREEN WAS SCRATCHED. >> ...excuses...)

Um...I have a full-sized framed movie poster replica from the first Back to the Future movie and I can rattle off quotes and everything and even mostly keep the timeline straight (don't laugh, that's hard. D: )

Aaaaaaaaand when I was a kid I was such a huge fan of Bill Nye that I freaked out when my uncle sat next to the guy on a plane. XD He sent me a letter with his thumbprint on it and said 'It's not an autograph, but it's a thumbprint from someone who sat next to Bill Nye the Science Guy on a 3 hour flight!' ...I was so thrilled. sweatdrop

My best geek out moment? Realizing I have more D8 dice than MrJimmy. 'Nuff said. We were running a Biggest Geek contest...I still have the score card I was keeping track on. I think I won by a point, but it was close.

I'll be kind and not out my other fellow geeks in the contest...which we seriously need to continue someday. It was fun.

Also, In high school I did so many X-Files themed reports on various topics that my English teacher actually had to ban me from writing anymore. But on the ones I did get to write, they all were A papers.

EDIT: Last night I sneaked salmon onigiri, green tea mochi, and strawberry mochi into a movie theater. They were yummy. I took a special trip into Boston just to buy these said goodies to smuggle into the movie theater.

No, I did not use my bento for this feat...I stuck them in my purse. Next time I'll remember to use the bento and do it right! Can you tell I'm on a big Japan kick right now?

I'm looking a starting a Battlefleet Gothic fleet and I'd like to play Inquisitor, but there's no Tyranid models for Inquisitor.

Lictors could double up as Genestealer hybrids and a Hive Tyrant could pass as a Warrior imo... They made a proper genestealer model but it was unreleased/discontinued. Loads of the Specialist games have been cutback over the years.

Heres the model http://www.collecting-citadel-miniatures.com/wiki/index.php/Image:Unreleased_-_Inquisitor_54mm_Purestrain_Genestealer.jpg

Gawd, you want geeky? Last night, I was looking through DeviantArt and thought I would see what kind of art was offered under the topic "David Bowie."

After looking at some rather strikingly beautiful artwork of the man, I went through a drastic wave of fangirl-isms. I was so overcome with emotion over wanting to be with him that I just about cried. I was calling anyone who would listen me whine and whimper about how much I wish I could at least touch him.

Sanzo and Pandy will vouche for me because they were the ones I called after everyone else in my cell's phonebook wouldn't pick up their damn phones. Sanzo told me she would get me a David Bowie plush doll as big as me so I can molest it while I sleep.

And what's funny is a lot of people I talk to don't seem understand my obvious enchantment with him. If I had a man who's voice was close to David Bowie's vocal chords, I would melt. He's just... *Swoons.*

My father says I'll grow out of it, but I think that all will happen is that I will mellow out but still have those moments of harsh emotion.

*Smiles.* What can I say? I'm in love with David Bowie. biggrin

EDIT: I also had a dream last night with him in it. He was around 40-50 something and while I was watching TV and eating cereal, he was sitting next to me and all he could do was stare at me. Gawd~ It was so deliciously uncomfortable. (I'm crazy, aren't I?)

I skipped going with Terra to her cousin's birthday party, to fly to Brisbane (2 hour flight) so I could go to a convention meet a re-curring character from Stargate: SG-1 xd But Teryl Rothery isawesome, even if she was just re-curring. And in my deence I was so excited about going to Brisbane I actually forgot about the party. I forget a lot of things xd

Ooo, I should put the photo of me and Terryl in the Post Pictures thread.

I recite Spongebob. Quotes, scenes and music! Other than that, I donno, I don't really consider myself nerdy. Does liking and knowing a lot about reptiles make you nerdy?

I wouldn't see nerdy. Geeky I think is more appropriate. I think a nerd is more those super smart guys with the glasses and bracces and stuff like that. Geeks are more people who lopve stuff and no all about it. Very close to fangirls and fanboys.

Funny thing about Pokemon Platinum. It was in stock EVERYWHERE.

Why preorder? XD

I have the unfortunate circumstance of going into a store and a copy not being there.

So if I were to preorder and have it shipped to my house, I would be able to rest easy knowing I had one for sure. I get that at book stores, too. It's rather annoying.

Doing a victory dance when, after playing DDR for only 3 days, I got every combo on End Of The Century.
Watching the last episode of Ghost In The Shell 2nd Gig 4 times straight.
Watching Harry Potter, Goblet of Fire, 5 times in the cinema.
Having every VHS/DVD featuring Alan Rickman, even if it's for about 1.6 seconds.

Ohhh, there are more.

>Being able to remember, on very little information, exactly which episode of Sponge Bob/CSI/Dave The Barbarian/FMA/and, a whole bunch of other shows a quote/referance is from.
>Being able to quote almost whole episodes of said shows.
>Being able to quote almost the entire O Brother Where Art Thou and Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail movies.
>Owning a Tidus Plushie.
>Having two milk crates on top of my bookshelf, because I ran out of room, and STILL needing to find places to put books.
>Having more than three books on order in the bookstore right now, and at least one at any given time.
>I used to play Runescape, and not totally fail at it 8D
>Currently reading ten webcomics, and up to date on all but three of them ^^"
>Having run out of homepage tabs on IE because of webcomics
>Cosplaying Yuna from FFX, and having the BEST FREAKIN SUMMONER STAFF EVAR
