So, Shram, you're saying the best way to avoid it is... to never come in the guild again? wink
PostPosted: Tue Oct 20, 2009 12:06 pm
no but there is a way to be immune to THE GAME.
and its related to the ATG

Last I heard, there WAS no immunity to the game. (I personally think even the IRC exclusion is cheating, rather...) smile

(On a different note, Shram, I downloaded a bunch of DuckTales yesterday, and was happy to see that Carl Barks got story credit for Back to the Klondike, even though his tale had been significantly changed for the TV show)

it gives the games rules instead of just being a thing ya know.

(Good good considering he invented McDucks life in Klondike and the harsh life as a go digger there, oh and his lovely girl to.)

Disney, what what? *looks around happily*

I don't have any old Donald comics... emo But a friend of mine does, and I wish to read them sometime~~~

Watched the cartoon all the time, though, growing up.

@Waku: If you can find Carl Barks' Uncle Scrooge stories, they're phenomenal. They're essentially the backbone of what was mined for the DuckTales TV show. (I think some publisher is working on a prestige re-release, much the same as they've been doing for newspaper comic strips for Peanuts, d**k Tracy, Far Side, Calvin & Hobbes, and now [I read an article yesterday] Bloom County)

I would let you read my collection but... its all in Norwegian.
personally I would love a few english copies with as much commercial as the norwegians have in them.
and of the same thickness >.>

also on Aretoo's note:
why not extend to discussing the other comics of love =D?
and yes Carl Barks has the best stories and good drawing, Don rosa has the best art though xP

Yeah I'm not sure what all my friend has...but he and his brother used to love the DuckTales comics and anything else Donald Duck-related....

A re-release would be awesome... biggrin

@Shram: Very true... though he based all his work off of Barks' stuff, including everything he pulled out of hints here and there to make Scrooge's timeline. ^_^

@Waku: DuckTales is also available on DVD y'know... wink
