~Personality~

Growing up on her own in a secluded valley, Zosime developed her own code of honor. Whether it makes sense to others or not doesn’t matter to her. She will follow it regardless. When she believes she’s right there may be a butting of heads when she gets firm and head strong. While others may be in mental turmoil over what they are she isn’t. She knows who she is, and she is Zosime, a Wind Serpent.

Following her code Zo seeks to protect those dear to her. Harm will not come to them if she can stop it. However, while trying to protect others she may put herself into danger over her head. Nor will she allow those in power to abuse others. She will solidly stand behind an honorable leader, but will not hesitate to overthrow a corrupt leader.

Deep inside her calm exterior Zo has a passion for foals. She will do anything to protect a foal; to her it doesn’t matter if the foal belongs to her herd or not. Her life will be willingly sacrificed if it means the salvation of a foal. Zo secretly loves to play with the foals and will not hesitate if one is brave enough to ask. She has extreme patience with the young, and will teach them to hunt small animals.

Because of her kalona side, Zo does prefer to eat meat. She is very polite about the whole matter even going so far as to give thanks to the animal she is about to kill. Because of her code she will not hunt anything larger than a beaver. As a foal learning to hunt small game in her valley it morphed into a rule not to be broken as an adult. Even if this means she must spend hours longer than everyone else to get the meat she needs. Her code does not ban her from eating large game meat if offered by another. Her favorite meat, oddly, is fish.

Haven recently left her secluded valley Zo has never encountered a human. Should she meet one she will be wary at first. If they wish to approach and do so openly with empty hands she may let them near. It is unlikely that she will ever be “tamed.”

~History~

While growing up in a secluded valley she trained her mind, body, and soul. Realizing that the two halves of herself could easily tear her apart from the inside out she acknowledged what she was and came to terms with it. She compromised by hunting game, but only small animals.

When she reached maturity she left her mountain valley home and began to travel. She met and saw many new and exciting things; these traveling years tested her training and mind. Now she was looking for the security of a herd. Only to find a herd wasn't nearly as secure as she had hoped.

The tiny herd of wind serpents disbanded and Zo left. Hoping one day to revive the herd she'd dreamed of.

Personality: Unless you know him very well, Kalril comes off as extreme cold. A hunter, a predator, and he knows it. Even if you do know him well, he isn't much warmer.

Hunting is his favorite past time. Watching the prey scurry for cover greatly amuses him. Anything scurrying for the faint hope of cover is watched intensely.

Wind Serpents - Wind serpents have features in common with both Kalona and Kirin - which is a rather counterintuitive combination. They are adept at flight, and have a sinuous movement in the air that speaks of a snake-like nature. Most of them are not evil, but prefer the taste of meat. They have long fang-like canines and can open their jaws quite wide. Some of them have a mild toxin in their fangs that can lock up the muscles of prey animals. It has only a very mild affect on creatures as large as soquili.
