Outlines and Plots

I finally decided on my story idea a few days ago. Like Lyvidian, it was one I had scrapped a while ago but was always somewhere in the back of my mind planning it's comeback.

I feel good about it, though. I usually pick something like science fiction, but this time I spun off into a comedy/ romance. But I'm freaking out about the 50k words. Jesus christmas, that's a lot of words!

Outlines?? Who said anything about an outline...
I just dive right into the writing. Outlines usually waste my time, since I'm a VERY spontaneous writer.

For me, I have everything all thought of and ready to go, I have all the characters mapped out and everything all I need are the words. How can I come up with 50K words in a month?

I've decided to write out a story I only have a bit of world building for. Also a bunch of characters a a vague idea of where the first bit is going to go BUT THAT DOESN'T HELP. ;_;

↬Outlining isn't my style. I'm more of a last minute planner when it comes to NaNoWriMo.
The first year I did it, I didn't start until the 8th!Last year, I didn't pick out what story/plot I was doing until a day or two before.
This year, I'm ahead of plan with knowing what story I'm going to be writing.↫
