Woil looked away as he rubbed his hair, Roi was 'asleep' as you can call it, he hadn't of heard from the demon for an hour now... He shook his head as he closed his eyes, keeping back the tears as he once again remembered that dreadful night, where he sat there clutching his younger brother's limp hand in his.

After a few minutes he looked at Allen to answer his millions of questions, something he had been prepared for the moment they met. He quietly said to the white haired boy,
"My mind got confused as to who was who in all the chaos that night... Me fighting for control of my own body, while Roi was fighting to keep control of it... It ended up in a tie, and my brain shut down on me... It happens often..." He said looking away again, rubbing his hair once more. He continued, now was the best time, Roi was 'asleep' he opened his mouth to continue as he stopped, he felt it... That presence in his mind and body...
You aren't planning to tell your little crush about me and Tay are you? Roi's dark thoughts and voice said into Woil's mind.
N-No... He replied to the demon as he closed his mouth and avoided the brown glossy eyes of the pale haird boy.
He sighed as he moved his trolley and smiled as Yia seemed to never take his eyes off the pale hair. He clicked his tongue and said something and Yia instantly snapped out of it and came to his brother,
"We better head on through..." He said as he smiled at the innocence his younger brother gave off. How he would do anything to protect his younger brother from more pain... Even if he had to submit to the demon that shared... No... Not shared... More like hijacked his body...

Yia's eyes widened at what his brother said. He looked at his older brother with pure shock and amazement, he then looked at Allen. This was obviously a boy Yia could trust... He was obviously not one of Roi's goons. This really made him feel better, "Sure! You can call me Yia!" He said smiling that signature mischievous smile of his. He took the strange names comment as a major compliment, it was his heritage and life.

When they continued to talk and Woil suddenly changed the subject, he couldn't help but look away sadly. It was obvious his older brother had yet again submitted to the ways of that evil spirit..
I'm sorry... I never knew you would be this torn up big brother... He said staring up at Allen's hair again, how he longed to turn it that color, maybe even don the same appearance! Oh! That would be fun! "Once we get through that barrier I'm gonna show you something cool!" He said up to the second year Hufflepuff. He heard the click and moved next to his brother, as commanded by the language his brother was doing...

He tried to withhold the crippling fear and terror that threatened to overtake him the moment Woil explained. And the second he said it had happened often - that his other half had become so strong that it caused him to physically shut down - Allen had to lean on the trunk to not have his knees lock under him. Poe clicked his beak with concern and question, but Allen ignored him and stared at the ground as the meaning of what the Ravenclaw said swept into him.
He remembered how it had started with his father - the beginning of the end. How it lead to the most dreadful things.

He nodded, addressing nothing regarding Roi, but agreed they should pass through the barrier. He even managed to offer Yia a semi-convincing smile at the mention of being shown something.
"Take Yia first, i am right behind you." he encouraged the brothers.

The platform was bustling with life as incogneto wizards and muggles alike scurried about, eager to reach their trains, but those few wizards among the flocking muggles, they had yet to arrive at their platform...

"Thomas come along, you'll want a window seat." Arthur instructed as he moved through the crowds nearing the threshold between platforms 9 and 10. Thomas' tuft of blonde hair peeked through the crowds as the boy worked his way more slowly through the pack, struggling with his luggage trolly.

"I'm sorry, father..." He answered back through the masses. ."It's this cat... No! Stay put, Fisch! Like we practiced...."
Arthur released a heartful chuckle as he turned to watch his son's challenging approach. The boy clutched the cart-handle with one hand, as he used the other in a test of wills to keep the dark, blotched callico kitten perched watchfully on his shoulder.
"Let's go. We're almost there." Arthur said, shaking his head endearingly before leading the way.

Levana and Nevin had quickly said their goodbyes to their parents then moved on. Felix, their father was to take the fast way their. A mode of travel that she was highly jealous of. She smiled as she noticed a few others from school chatting away near the barrier. Her heart fluttered with excitement as she knew school was to be starting again. She turned to Nevin and smiled wide yet the smile dropped when she saw him looking around rather worridly.
"Nevin? Everything alright?" she questioned although she knew the answer already. He was looking for the other two most important people in his life. Bailey and Cyrus. All summer he had had barely any time with either of them so he was looking forward to spending that time during school. Cyrus had mentioned that he was working now for his mother at the Leaky Cauldron. He had meant to go over break but many things got in the way and had prevented him from going.
Levana sighed and put a hand on her brothers arm."Come on, he'll probably already be waiting for you near the train" she said trying to sound calming then they both passed the others and went through the barrier.

The young wizard followed slowly behind his sister looking this way and that for any sign of his girl friend or his best friend. neither were anywhere in sight. Perhaps they were early, perhaps they were late. Worry gripped him hoping everything was alright. Nevin gripped his bag tighter and adjusted. It didn't seem heavy any more to him and that feeling was a bit odd. The trunk was filled just as much, and he knew no charm had been placed on it. So why was it so light?

Nevin was not one to look in the mirror. If he had though he would have noticed the muscles that had grown on his arms, stomach and shoulders. A few more years of Quidditch and he would be ripped. Yet he only had one more year and he planned to do something else upon graduation. A long sigh left him and he turned his attention back to his sister when she spoke. "Im fine, lets just get through the barrier to see if they are there yet.." he said sounding a bit distant.

”Hildegard, my dear, don’t dawdle.” Came the sharp clipped retort to Hildy’s slow pace through the train station. Looking over, her cousin Chase gave her an encouraging smile and nodded head of them through the crowd.

“Come on, girl. It’s just up there.”

But it wasn’t the size of the station that was weighing on Hildy, slowing her steps. It was the lead weight on her heart that this was her first time going off to Hogwarts and neither of her parents was here to see her off. Her mother had been murdered, less than a month ago. And her father was one of the suspects. So she had been taken away by an uncle that she had only met once in her life and sent to live with her grandparents who had never wanted to know her.

Looking up at her grandmother’s back as the woman charged through the crowd, she scowled at the sight of the small hand clasped tightly in the old woman’s. Matty had taken right away to Grandmother Balford and the old woman had been almost affectionate to him in return. For the most part the woman was just cold, distant and unfeeling. At least as far as Hildy could tell.

Though Hildy was glad to know her two uncles now. Uncle Gideon worked for the Ministry’s Hit Wizards and was investigating her mother’s murder and Uncle Thayer was the Head of the Werewolf Capture Unit and he was a lot of fun. Grandfather Balford was very busy at work, but when he was home he was warm and happy to have the children in his home. Hildy felt like she had grown somewhat close to him already. But most of the day it was just Grandmother, the house-elves and the animals around the huge old estate. So it had been sort of a blessing when Uncle Gid had brought Chase to stay with them for the remainder of the summer.

Chase was interesting, he had lived among Muggles his whole life so Hildy had tons of questions for him. He was rambunctious and enjoyed pranks which were a nice distraction when their grandmother or the house-elves weren’t storming in to spoil their fun. But when Chase got into reading he was usually lost for the rest of the day and Hildy would wonder down to the gardens to tend to the plants and while the hours away. Matty seemed physically attached to his grandmother and they were almost never apart. Hildy didn’t understand why he was sucking up to the old crone.

Looking back she glanced over her things again as she cradled little Rolf in her arm not pulling the cart. Grandmother had termed her trunks ‘shoddy’ and insisted on buying beautiful new ones for her. Hildy resisted but it was to no avail. But she refused to let her grandmother throw the trunks out. They had been her father’s school trunks. Her grandmother had bought her several more robes and some new clothes as well as more potion ingredients and some nicer quality books. But none of it made her seem nice, more like she was sneering at the poor quality things that Hildy had and not wanting to be associated with just lower class trash.

As she passed a station attendant the large man stepped over with a harsh tone, “Miss!” Hildy, Chase, Grandmother and Matty all stopped and looked to the brutish Muggle. He pointed a finger that looked more of a sausage at little Rolf and barked at Grandmother. “No live animals loose in the passenger cars!”

He picked the wrong person to yell at. While Hildy shuddered under the large man’s thundering and Rolf hissed at him, Grandmother’s expression was more like she was looking at a very small annoying insect. “Well then, will be sure to kill it before we get on board. Let’s go children.”

Finally they approached a large brick column between Platforms Nine and Ten. Grandmother Balford stood to the side with Matty and waved her hand and Chase smirked at his cousin and walked ahead. And then right through the wall! Hildy gaped. How had he done that? Was there a spell or incantation? No one had told her what to do. How was she supposed to do this?

“Come one, come on. Let’s not take all day.” Grandmother snipped.

Hildy looked at her in a panic, “But..how?..I don’t know-“

“Just walk through, and snap to it.” Her grandmother looked more irritated and Matty was still and well behaved but Hildy could see the anxious sparkle in his eyes as he knew that once she went through, he and grandmother would be next.

Hildy shuddered as she turned the cart around to push it ahead of her, snuggling Rolf close to her chest. Taking long steps she approached the wall, waiting for something amazing like the passage to Diagon Alley from the Leaky Cauldron but nothing happened. She slowed to stop and turn to her grandmother when the woman stepped assertively forward and hissed, “Run!”

Bailey rushed along the platform pulling a heavy-laden trolley carrying several suitcases of various sizes, and atop sat an empty cage. In her arms was a small black kitten, perfect in every sense, yet still lacking a name. It wasn't but yesterday evening that Bailey had been at the Magical Menagerie shopping for her new pet, and this morning had been so busy that she hadn't even given it a thought. Squeezing her new friend tightly, her eyes grazed the crowds of people as she hurried up the stone path. When she finally reached her destination, she leapt directly into the barrier, worrying of nothing but where Nevin might be.

Quietly Cryus approched the barrier hands in pockets and no trunk in sight. His mother was at the Cauldron and his little brother there too, for the first time he was here by himself. Cyrus needed to do this alone after all. Work had kept him so busy he never got a chance go talk to Nevin. What was he going to say? What was he going to think? This wasn't going to be pleasent in any way shape or form. Hopefully Nevin would understand after all he planned to come visit...just not attend... "Oh well here we go." Cyrus said with a sigh.

Walking calmly towards the barrier it was all he could do to not break down. This wasn't an easy thing to do. Cyrus felt his heart twisting and trying to break but he knew it was nessicary. Mother needed him and she wasn't making him do this. In all actuality she wasn't happy he was doing this but couldn't complain too much. For what he knew would be one of his last times Cyrus walked through the barrier and went to face his closest friend.

The ghosts of my future: Grog, Austin, Jinhai

That which dances through my mind: Time to begin

Swirling within me: Calm, content, and a little bit of a desire for fun

A soft tune slipped out of his mouth as he pushed his things down the busy sections of the station. Yuan was enjoying himself despite the earlier vision he had. The seventh year knew what one of his friends was about to go through, poor things. It was for the best though. Dodging muggle after muggle and the occasional other wizarding family the seer headed straight for the barrier. Once there he paused to look behind him at the other two black haired teens with him.

One was a friend he had made a few years ago and a fellow Hufflepuff. Austin had come to stay with him and his family over the summer after his family freaked out on him. Apparently being gay and having a will didn't float well with them. It was alright wit him though as apparently the shy boy had become very close to his cousin, a cousin who had visited for the first time this very summer. Funny how things worked out like that huh? Jinhai looked more oriental then Yuan as he didn't have an English wizard for a father. He was getting tall despite his fourteen years. Bold and playful Yuan found him a good fit for the blossoming relationship between the two.

"Come along now boys let's get going. Stop flirting for a few minutes alright?" Yuan said playfully as he paused for the pair to catch up. Jinhai made a playful comment back and Yuan laughed. Yes an interesting relationship was forming. Rolling his eyes lightly he stepped out of the way for Austin and Jinhai to pass through the barrier. Sighing a little a smile on his face Yuan followed a moment later. Time for goodbyes, he guessed.

For you see, each day I love you more.

...Today more than yesterday...

...and less than tomorrow

A light laugh left the young Chinese wizard as he walked along his cousin and new love. A lot of the people seemed to be starring at him, then again he was wearing his usual outfit of tradition clothing. He just couldn't help himself. The young wizard felt strange in any other clothing but this. It didn't matter though to him as long as he liked it and Austin liked it too. That was what mattered to him. Jinhai still didn't know what had possessed him to visit this summer though he was glad he did. Austin was an amazing young man and he loved to call him his own.

Sadly though the summer of quiet nights out in the garden and long talks about their lives was over. Now they both had to head off back to school and part ways till breaks. Jinhai hated for the first time that he lived so far away. Owl messages would take forever to get back and forth now it it irked him so. Thankfully though he had come up with a way to fix that. Still it was such a long ways away. He was going to have to set up gifts through Yuan thankfully though his cousin had already agreed to help. Yuan seemed thrilled to know about their relationship.

"What if I don't wish to stop flirting? I love how pink he turns when I do so in public can't I enjoy it?" Jinhai retorted to Yuan's comment. He chuckled along with his cousin unable to help himself. Austin was adorable beyond belief and he wished to spend more time with him. Summer just wasn't long enough and they were far from being out of school. To put it lightly this sucked. Regardless at least he could see him off to school. "Pushy isn't he?" He said to Austin a smile on his face.

Austin walked slowly, pushing the cart holding his trunk and the cages of his two pets. Hope was hooting rather excitedly while Rusty slept, the lazy cat. Austin glanced over to the beautiful boy walking beside him, Jinhai was the best thing that had ever happened for the Hufflepuff. He had appeared in Austin's darkest hours, when he forced to leave his own home. Hearing Yuan's comment a slight pink tinge appeared on the fourth year's checks. Which turned brighter upon hearing Jin's comment. "Guys" he said softly. Hearing Jinhai's comment to him he looked over at his love, and his heart skipped a beat as he looked into the other boy's chocolate eyes. "I- I guess so" he said smiling back. Ugh why do I always have to be so nervous around him he thought. A sigh escaped the black haired boys lips. "Why must the summer end?" he asked aloud. He reached out and took Jin's hand, the first time Austin had been the one initiating a sign they were together. "I don't want to leave you. Ten months separated, how could I stand not talking to you for so long?" he asked.

Jessica Sassareth

Slytherin, Second Year

User Image Jessica made her way from the boarding house belonging to the Ministry. Most of her belongings, with a few noted exceptions, where hand-me-downs and second-hand school books for Hogwarts. For the most part, it had been a miserable summer for the pale redhead. Mainly, her companions were the books she acquired -- mostly classic works of William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle, Agatha Christie, and Alexander Dumas.

Jess would escape her current existance within the worn pages of those stories. Whenever she wasn't reading, Jess would spend hours gazing across the skyline of old London watching the muggle traffic: cars, buses, and trains. She'd also observe occasional chimney sweeps working across the rooftops near the boarding house where she resided.

Even though those workers where completely unaware of her presence, Jess easily watched them -- they were completely different from what she had imagined: instead of some romanticized vision of singing, soot coated men, Jess saw a very organized team wearing specialized suits to protect themselves from the harmful coal tar and other inhaled substances. That was probably when Jessica fully realized how advanced 'muggle' society actually was.

As Jess reflected on her revelation, she continued to push her cart of packed belongings toward her target, already becoming winded. While her cheeks gradually flared to bright crimson, a horrid coughing fit overtakes her. her violent coughing stops her in her tracks a mere ten feet from the post she needs to run through to reach the Hogwarts Express. One hand had a deathgrip on her cart, while the other one held a handkerchief over her mouth. Trying to expell the flim out of her lungs, Jess struggled for breath, while her grey owl hooted in panic inside his cage...

Fourth YearGryffindorDreamer

Aravis sighed as she walked with the woman she had taken to calling Mum. She pushed her own cart, with Sadie sitting atop it, watching all the Muggles. It wouldn't be so bad going back if only things were more interesting.

"Well, here we are," her mother said longingly. She didn't want to have to let her adopted daughter go off again for the year. She had watched her become a beautiful young lady, with quite the intelligence and imagination.

"Yup, so I guess I'll being seeing you for Christmas next," the witch replied, not wanting to show that she really didn't want to go. After all, what would happen?

"Oh, you'll write, I know you will!" the woman exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around the Gryffindor. Sadie turned her head around to notice this and gave a faint chirp.

"You know me too well," Aravis smiled as she returned the hug. "Love you Mum."

The Muggle woman hardly got a chance to say good-bye before Aravis was off sprinting at the wall separating the two platfroms. Sprinting with her cart, and the hopes that her life would get more interesting this year.

Seren Meinir
~Ravenclaw~First Year~

Seren walks down the train station with a cart that was pushed by her Mum. This was her first time going away from home to school. "Mum will you write to me at least a few times a week?" Seren asks while looking up at her Mum as they were walking. "Of course I will Seren and don't worry, your going to make a ton of friends at Hogwarts. Your Aunt made so many different friends while she was there." Her Mum says to her. All Seren could do was nod. She was a bit nervous that she would be meeting so many different people. Sighing Seren looks at her Egyptian Mau, Belle, who was in her cat carrier. This would be her first time as well leaving home and Seren was glad she would be able to have some comfort by her pet. Just then her Mum stops the cart and looks at Seren. "Well were here Seren. It looks like your going to have to go through the two platforms by yourself." She says. Seren gulps and then nods. "Bye Mum I'll see you at Christmas then." She says before getting a bit of a run and travels between the two platforms.
