BTW, both our characters get rescued by the knight. NICE! Now, I gotta focus... On making trouble for the group and giving horrid advice >=D ))

{THE KNIGHT HATH COMETH. ...Okay, screw the formalities, this shiz is now open. emotion_awesome }
T'was early morning in a small settlement, not too far from the glistening capitol of joy and hedonism, Frescha. This fair land had always been a favorite of Valkyrie's, both due to the light-hearted nature of everything as well as the magnificent scenery. It was too early for most people, especially Freschans, to wake, yet the angel simply could not sleep. So, to pass the time, she sat herself atop the inn's roof, brushing her silky blonde hair and humming an old folk song she'd often drink and dance to in the days of old.

Morrigna settled next to Valkyrie, with Badb, Macha, and Nemain settled on her outstretched arm. "What is it about the morning?" she asked softly. "It's so appealing. Sometimes I think I can see holes into Faerie. Completely nonsensical, of course. But it's a nice thought, nonetheless. Badb, eitil!" Immediately, the crow took off, squawking in protest. But she didn't return, and started to circle higher. Macha and Nemain both made clicking noises that Morrigna recognized as laughter, and she silenced them both with a hissed word in her natural language. Then she returned her attention to Valkyrie. "Want me to brush your hair for you, pet?" Both crows started clicking laughs again, and Morrigna let them. For now.

"It is a time when gods still slumber, yet not a time in which evil still lurks in the shadows, waiting for its time to pounce. It's my favorite time of day as well, if only because of the beauty of the painted sky and the serene silence that fills the air." Valkyrie replied, gazing at the sky above as a warm smile graced her features. "It gives one much time to contemplate the day ahead in peace, a luxury that not many humans seem to appreciate or even take advantage of." As Morrigna offered to brush her hair, the angel politely declined. "Thank you, but this is something I love doing myself. This might seem silly, but it's sort of soothing, especially when one considers the dangers one is destined to face."

After sending her other crows flying with Gaelic, Morrigna settled next to Valkyrie. "I don't even want to know what my hair looks like without a glamour now. I haven't bothered brushing it since... well, since I killed my girlfriend a few years ago. She used to do it," Morrigna mused. "She tried to cut my throat a few times." The fae chuckled. "Gods, I loved her. Wild in bed." She stretched out, calling Badb back to her arm and then commanding the crow to give a report. She let the bird preen her as it cawed softly into her ear. Then she said to the angel, "Have you ever spoken to crows? It's very interesting."

"I could brush it for you if you like, assuming that you provide your own brush." Valkyrie offered, a friendly gesture more than anything. Before Morrigna could answer that, she made sure to give her reply to the question of the crow. It was certainly an interesting one, as crows were symbols of the death god, were they not? "I have not for pleasure. However, I have done so under service of my blessed lord, more often than not giving news of a war or giving the demand that he not offend my lord any further at that given time."

Morrigna pulled the brush out of a shimmer of air. Certain things were bound to her, things that had been cast out of Faerie with her. A brush, a small mirror, a blanket. She could call on these things when she wished, although she usually didn't because it distracted her from the glamour that she let fall, revealing tangled hair that Badb was preening with her beak. Morrigna sent Badb flying to a branch, offering the brush to Valkyrie. Then she said, "It's interesting, the crows are in my service because of my MorrĂgan blood. Not because of my deity. The Badb, the Macha, and the Nemain have accompanied my bloodline since it began. They have been the eyes and ears of my family for so long... I wish I could have seen them in Faerie. They're seven feet tall, with wings spreading twenty-seven feet from tip to tip, beaks colored permanently by blood... fire in their eyes and their cry striking fear into every faery that hears it." She sighed with longing.

"I can honestly say I've never seen them as such. The nearest I have would be the Seraphim who serve Order. Truly terrible beings with a vicious wrath and a vehement obsession with law and organization. Not ideal negotiators, either, if you ask me." Valkyrie replied, chuckling softly at the thought. "As you can imagine, I'm no Seraphim." she said, and although this was quite obviously true to anyone who knew her, it was intended as light-hearted jest.

"They're just one of the stories I've heard of my home realm," she murmured, enjoying talking to someone about Faerie, still offering the brush for Valkyrie to take, wanting her hair brushed. "The direwolves, roaming the Forests of Darkness. The Seelie fae in their sun-drenched land, living in a castle made of glass and crystal. The Unseelie in their world of rain and clouds, their stronghold formed of blackened vines, corrupted by the soul of their Queen. Roaming bands of Warriors, neither Seelie nor Unseelie, simply looking to keep the peace in the Between-Space that divides the courts." Morrigna chuckled softly. "I'm rambling. Aiféalach."
((Yay for Gaelic! That means 'sorry'))

"hellfire ignire et sulphur, et inflammabit inimicos meos." a voice called out from the darkness behind the Inn as a sudden light filled the area. A stream of flames was flung forth from the palm of the young half elf wizard that extended nearly seven feet infront of him before being dismissed as he closed his palm. "A much easier way to light a stove" the wizard chuckled walking over to where the flames had been directed at. A pot sat atop a brick stove the side scorched a good deal but the tender underneath had been caught aflame and now cackled with life.
Gathering up some supplies from next to the pot Taihel started to slice up the foods on a chopping block next to it. Several things of fish and meat covered the block along with a variety of vegetables and spices. He was making breakfast for the little group an act he had come to be looked on to do since joining the group and one he didn't mind in the least. "Hmm lets see a hearty stew this time or a regular breakfast again" he muttered to himself looking at the pot thinking of he would simply flatten it out and form a cooking surface or not to make a regular man's breakfast rather then something that was efficient.

Happy appeared behind the two. Seemingly dead to the word, he sat down next to his beloved. In one hand he held a stale piece of bread left over from dinner the night before, in the other, three fresh pieces. He gave one to Valkyrie and two to the Fae. He explained how one was for the birds.
The Fae didn't bother him as much as her birds, them being crows made him cautious of his back. Morrigna just gave him a chilling vibe. Of course, he never showed it and he showed an equal respect to the crows as he did all animals, no matter the species. They made good companions in the end.
He lied against the roof, reaching to gently take Valkyrie's hand. His wife sparked every good feeling in him, emotionally and physically. A slight smile crossed his groggy face. Valkyrie did that to him. She was loving and kind, compassionate to all. She convinced him from killing many a soul who did not deserve it. Of course, he didn't know that. He just didn't want to kill anymore when she was around. She was pure.
He was in a simple shirt and pants, coming into reality slowly. Opening his mouth, a mellow, yet scratchy, voice of the morning came out. "How are you Fae, Crows? Sleep well?" He addressed his beloved in his own way, giving her hand a slight squeeze.

Morrigna scowled. "The MorrĂgan women have never needed to rest their eyes. And trust me, you do not want to know what I spent the night doing." With a shimmer, the brush disappeared and she stood up, not looking at the angel or the knight. "I need to go." Her glamour shimmered into place, and she went away from the knight. It was hard to be around someone so... covered in cold iron. Even her bloodline was poisoned by the cruel metal. She wandered until she found a nice spot of ground and sat down, feeling the dirt as her crows cawed above her.

{Hooray for learning something new~ emotion_awesome }
As Valkyrie brushed the tangles from Morrigna's hair, she proved to be both gentle and persistent. It took her longer with some tangles and a shorter time for others, but no matter the size, they were all tamed before long. "I don't mind rambling all too much. Besides, your stories are interesting." Right after that, Michael came and sat beside her, leaving the angel with a broader smile adorning her lips. Right before eating her piece of bread, she thanked him graciously, as was habit whenever she recieved any sort of gift from another. Even when she ate, she was polite, not at all loud or messy, even when she finished quickly. With a pleasant sort of silence, she squeezed his hand back, gazing at him with an ever so loving gaze. Once the fae left, she did not give much of a reaction, almost expecting this by now. After all, knights wore iron, didn't they? Didn't fae hate iron?

He gave the Fae a frown. He wasn't even wearing his armor. It was uncomfortable in bed. Shrugging, he stared into Valkyries eyes. "How did you sleep, my love?" The usual question, but one that still held much love. It was also his way of asking, "What did you dream of" without saying a word.
