Hello, hello!
You don't have any kind of forms below so I'm going to offer up something that may/may not interest you. It may even fall in to two categories that you're seeking depending on what you want and the direction you want to head in.
Oops, How'd I get here? x I don't Understand...
Players: NPC Victim, Syntyche, Tempest, Catalyst
How would Lyric like to witness a very brutal murder, or more of the tail end of it? The victim will for the most part be dead, or in the last gasps of life as Syntyche (the Purewalker) silences him and then proceeds to sacrifice him to her deity. She won't immediately realise that Lyric is there so he'll be able to watch the gruesome finish as well as the beginnings of the ritual until she's disturbed.
Lyric of course would not be alone, he might be lost himself, but Syntyche is actually hunted by a very powerful mutant priest (Tempest) and her own daughter (Catalyst), and they'll be watching from another vantage point. As they've arrived to late to prevent the death of a soquili, they'll be waiting for her to become so absorbed in her ritual that they get the jump on her... Except the following might happen:
-- Lyric accidentally reveals that he's there, causing the pair to jump in before they're ready.
-- The pair spot Lyric before Syntyche does and are forced to react before the child is hurt.
It will result in a battle between Tempest and Syntyche, with the stallion ultimately forcing the Purewalker into the depths of the forest with him so that there's distance between Lyric, Catalyst and Syn. In essence, Tempest and Syntyche will be the 'cameo' as they'll disappear before Lyric can get hurt, but Catalyst will still be there.
Her job is actually to investigate Syntyche's murders, analyse her methods and psychologically profile her mother. She usually blinkers and heads straight for the bodies when they're found but depending on how Lyric reacts she can either calm him down, take him home, or answer any questions he might have if he happens to be morbidly curious.
It would at least be an introduction into one of the most brutal species in the world without exposing him to too much at once. As a baby he can see the end result but avoid the violence and risk to his life, leaving you with options to pursue later if you do want him exposed more directly etc.
I can't offer tamer encounters with meaner soquili as I don't have any darker characters, I only have Syntyche and she's in a league of her own!

I can't say how he'd react, not yet at least, but I'm sure he'll ask some pretty basic questions first. It'd be fun! I'd love to do this plot~

hey if you ever want foal rp, I've got my Athena. She's really intense though, and really rough around the edges... quite abrasive, but can prove to be really amusing. Enemies are always fun, but she can have some ally's; those who listen to her and stuff, that is... since she's very much "my way or the highway, bub!" but yeah.

I typically do all my rps in IM's, but I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable not knowing me and rping over IM's. but if it doesn't, I would prefer there? I usually just send replies when ever to the other person, and vice versa, at what ever leisure, offline or on. I don't really log stuff, cause I don't care about stats and stuff, though.
