The Council of Elders wait impatiently in their mountain cave, each asking another of the bloody heroes they had summoned were here yet. The answer was, of course, not yet. Where are those heroes? Are they ever going to show up? Did they get themselves killed on the way there? Only time will tell.

As it was, the mage had been traveling for some time. She was covered with her cloak and it seemed the mountain was a far way up. She sighed, stuck at the foot of it for now. She could perhaps shift and fly.. but that might even take far too long. Besides, Arah wasn't in a hurry. She chose to simply walk up the thing, deciding it was a far more meditating experience. She might need it.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys Some ways behind Arah a soft melody was catching in the air. The sound slowly began to grow in intensity until it's cause was soon distinguishable. A figure in the distance slowly moving towards the base of the mountain carried with him a tune played from a single instrument. A flute placed between his lips filled the air around with a warm tune that seemed to embody the essence of spring as it filled the ears of anyone close enough to catch it.

The thief ran like a mad woman, a bear snapping at her heels as she races down the mountain. She only took a moment to glance back at it when she suddenly found herself falling down the rabbit hole. Well... Not really the rabbit hole, but it was definitely a hole she was falling down. She slid down into a cave, looking around dazedly at the group of old people huddled around a large book. "Great, now what..."

Chris "Chalupa" Batman, found himself faced with a dilemma. He could either walk around the mountain and find a trail, or attempt to keep going in a straight line. Minutes later, he was jumping and scaling the near vertical side, just like his ancestor would have done. Getting up was the easy part, getting down without dying was a bit trickier, but Chalupa Batman never shied away from a challenge. Minutes later he was freefalling down a random hole and ending up inside the mountain. For a solid minute the Hero was on the ground, trying to get his brain to reboot so he could sit up.

Not only had the thief fallen down a hole, but now some guy had fallen on top of her. And he's heavy. "Get... Off...", she gasps out, trying to wiggle out from under him. The group of old people decided it was best to stand there and laugh rather than help.

Chalupa Batman groaned and rolled off the woman before finally getting to his feet, then falling over again because his equilibrium had been shot to hell and back.

The melody had Arah turn to see the figure in the distance, but she turned back soon after and followed where she assumed the entrance was. Her foot caught on something and the girl started to tumble into an opening. Rather than land on the harsh ground, though, she muttered a low incantation and levitated to a halt gently. She looked about, unsure of the magics surrounding the elderly in the mountain. She took a step to the side in case her entrance was used again, and waited patiently. For what, she didn't know.

The rogue had been about to stand when another person landed on her back, though this time with less pain. She whimpers softly, hoping the person will step off her soon as the Elders continue to laugh at her misfortune.

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys The melody slowly entered the hole that each of the others had fallen into. It stopped tho suddenly as a single vine fell from the hole stopping just above the rogue. An odd sound filled the room as in a moment the figure that had been following Arah before came sliding down the vine stopping just above the group sprawled on the floor. "Hmm" he muttered giving a small swing and jumping to the side of the gaggle of bodies. "I suppose this is the right place" the figure said standing up straight revealing a pair of pointed ears and emerald green eyes that scanned the surroundings.

Though Arah had already stepped to the side, she found that she was on top of another girl. She stepped again, removing herself from being perched upon the person. She muttered an apology, but stuck close to the wall and out of the way of any direct lighting. The mage kept her hood low.

Grumbling darkly, the rogue finally managed to stand up without being landed on. "Ya done laughin', ya arseholes!?", she snaps at the Elders. This quickly stopped their laughter and caused them to glare at the woman, who was glaring back.
An old man harumphs in clear displeasure, turning his attention to the group in general. "I'm glad you all finally made it. As you are all aware, we have summoned you to fulfill one of the Book of Prophecies prophecies. There is a gre-"
The rogue cuts him off, "I wasn't summoned by no one, can I leave?"

The difference between the good guys and the bad guys "If I may interject before things get to out of hand" the elf questioned as he stood there looking at each person in the room for a moment. "Just why is it you have summoned us here, whether by choice or not" Taihel questioned looking to the woman who seemed rather annoyed at the men infront of them. By there ages and the manner of there speech they were likely elders put in charge of a secret.

Chalupa Batman was immediately on his feet when he heard the word Prophecy. Prophecies usually meant quests, quests usually meant loot, and sweet loot was always with dragons, and if he killed a dragon, he'd get a sick set of armor from its corpse.
