Kana took it as a no when he didn't reply immediately. Turning to look at the ground as she walked, her mind wondered back to the Kage building. 'No jounin available'... 'doctors at the hospital'. The conversation was fuzzy to her, yet she was able to remember those words. She knew essentially it meant no squad for her. But it didn't exactly mean no friends? All she had to do was reach out and face people, talk to them and social. Kana peered up towards Vincente, would he be a friend one day?
He eventually replied, making her grimace a bit. "We should be there by sundown." Her own stomach grumbled a little ."Prepare for beans and meat." The more near they got towards the city, the more the trees started to thin out and were replaced with fields. They were getting closer to her parents house, and the more near she got the more she started to trip over herself. She started to walk behind Vincente to hide her embarrassment of constant stumbles.

Vincente noticed Kana was uncomfortable, but he didn't understand why. The more they walked, the more she seemed to lose her ability to walk correctly, and eventually she just stood behind him, being completely eclipsed by his massive body. He kept walking, but was uncertain if she could keep up if she was going to stand behind him like that. He slowed down just in case, but kept a steady pace so they would arrive on time. "Is it that bad? You're not tripping on purpose, are you?" Vincente asked, the suspicions clear in his speech.
It wasn't as if he'd mind if she were doing it on purpose, but he wanted to be sure if she was apprehensive about it all. "If you're not comfortable we could turn back, completely ignore the stop, and get on with our mission." Vincente suggested, citing that either way, he'd survive. It wasn't as if the world was going to end any time soon, after all. They could take all the time they needed, although Vincente would rather that the amount of time they needed was shortened. They were following a mostly straight path, after all, so very few detours might be a good thing so he convinced himself.

The stumbles weren't constant, only every few minutes and it was never seriously severe. Kana was surprised that he noticed, then realized it was a Shinobi's job to know ones surroundings. "I'm fine! It's completely normal for a nervous person to do something like this. Some people tap there foot, others have jittery teeth. I trip. It's just a basic human reaction..." She said it with a factual tone, not trying to be commanding or yell at him or any thing. The sun was starting to go down as she continued to walk, this time her mind was completely focused. One... two... one.. two.. one... two... one.. two... one.. Where was Blaze? She hadn't thought about the dog the whole time, and while watching the ground she suddenly thought of large paws. It wasn't as if she was complaining. She was sure that the dog hated her- the distraction of her mind carried through to he feet and she was suddenly stumbling over herself.
Her hands went to the back of Vincente's shirt, using it as support to keep balance. Sighing with relief, she set her forehead to his back and accepted defeat. She gave up. "Vince..." She was shyly asking," Can... Can you carry me? It's only a little bit up the path but..."

"If you say so, I guess, but doing that so many times might make somebody think you have a limp." Vincente remarked, briefly shrugging after Kana stated that it was normal behavior for her. To Vincente, it was something worrying, but maybe it was just her attire that tripped her up. A change in shoe size could work wonders, as far as he knew. Eventually she stopped entirely, beating around the bush upon asking him for help, and stopping entirely instead of finishing her request. "Relax." Vincente's comment was simple, but it was useful enough. It fulfilled its purpose, after all, since he was just trying to make sure that she kept a bit more enthusiastic of an attitude.
He knelt down and sheathed his swords before placing his hand on Kana's back, a charming, albeit brief smile crossing his face. He also crossed his other arm behind Kana's leg, lifting her in as if she were a bride rather than injuring his back by trying to carry her. He seemed wholly confused, however, after testing her weight...she wasn't all that heavy, so he didn't know why he was worried before. He decided against remarking on just how light Kana was and started walking again. "We'll be there soon, then? That's good enough for me. Just try not to fall before then." His tone was light and warm-hearted, but he wasn't expecting her to suddenly slip through his grasp or anything.
"But if I know Blaze, he doesn't care if it's dangerous or not. I'm hoping he didn't follow me, but if he did you can use him whenever he shows himself." Blaze was a finicky being, and capricious in nature. He did whatever suited him most, so Vincente wouldn't be surprised if his wolf was wandering the countryside with no other aim than to wander. Blaze was unique like that, and Vincente liked it that way. It kept them connected, and although he couldn't force loyalty from Blaze, he felt a strong bond between them. Maybe that bond was enough to get Blaze moving, or maybe not...Vincente wasn't going to guess.

Akihiro slowly shuffled towards the gates, his pace unchanged since he had originally set out all those weeks ago from his home. He was finally here. The mighty Leaf Village, home to the clan he was supposedly a part of, the Hyuuga. They were no family of his, but he owed to himself to at least learn about them, study the ways of his kekkei genkai. He knew from birth he had been gifted, that he was different from others, but he had never really learned the full extent of it. But it was all going to change now that he was here.
As he passed under the large arch that marked the gate, he was astounded by all the strange sights and people. It was true after all, people from all corners of the world and walks of life had made this village home, and even more flocked to it to enlist the aide of its legendary shinobi. He almost couldn't believe his eyes as he got deeper and deeper into the village. As he passed inside, he stopped off at a small guard booth, and told them of the men that had plagued his travels on the way to the village, and the turned away, disappearing into a crowd, still overcome by the sights and sounds of the city.
But just as quickly as he had lost control of his sense, he regained them, reentering a calm state, relaxing his body. He had learned it was dangerous to get lost in ones senses, and even in a village full of ninja, danger lurked down every alley and around every turn.

She moved along quietly, the path feeling old beneath her feet. There were no recent tracks, she was the first to move along it in a while. Which was weird. She broke off the main road, and headed towards the port town. She needed to get to the demon country, and she would need some help from her summons. #FF9999
Making excellent time, Shikayumi found herself on the border path. The sun was just starting to come as her surroundings became much more visible. Along the trail she could see a secondary pair of prints moving away from Konoha. She had a pretty good idea as to whose prints they were, but it was simply an educated guess. Once at the border, Shikayumi would begin moving towards Mist Country in search of the village itself.
Miles passed as valleys quickly turned into a vast treeline. Shikayumi had reached the marker for the Fire Country border as she leaped into the treeline in order to hide her tracks. She was curious as to how her comrades were doing on their mission, how the other spy was doing on hers. Suppose she would find out as soon as she returned to the Leaf.

She could feel it. That loneliness she had forced into remission so long ago. Now what? No Kusa. No Secret service. Nothing. With a remorseful rub Across that mask that adorned her face, her hard grip tightened around it only to stow it in her back pocket. Why did she need it? It was memories of course. Feelings that she'd feed until the day she died. Vivian was now to join another village. Bent, twisted, but not broken.
Armand headed down the path towards the village. He needed some sort of purpose, or an outlet. He missed Kya. She was always their for guidance. Even if he was a tool, he was nothing without his wielder. Or is teammates. As if through divine intervention, he saw it. A flock of purple in the distance. His sensitive eyes focused in on them, his other senses following suit. The dark skin, the walk, the hair, the smell, the...everything. His heart stopped dead for a moment before resuming at an enhanced pace. It had to be her. There was no way that it wasn't. Kicking his usual relaxed pace into a bit of a run, Armand would be waving his hand and shouting. "Vivian, hey Vivian!~" How awkward would it be if it was the wrong person.
