The Mystery of Baskets
Name: Howler
Gender: Male
Species: Grey Wolf
Temper: Watchful
Likes: Fresh meat, clean cool water, running
Dislikes: Being chased, Overprotective Soquili, rain (Fur isn't light when it's wet.)
Mission: Get a Basket away from the other Soquili.
About: Howler's a very Quite sort. but just cause he's quiet doesn't mean he doesn't know what's going on. He watches others, listens closely. He much prefers learning about a situation before deciding if he wants to get involved with it or look for something elsewhere. The only exception to this is when his Alphas give him a Direct Order. A Direct Order is how he came to the Soquili lands looking for a Basket in the first place.
Quiet and usually calm, he acts like most wolves. He hunts his food, he stalks about in the shadows, he scouts a territory to call home and protects it from other wolves, but the life of a lone wolf is not the one he particularly wanted or enjoyed. He'd suffer it though, in the interests of bringing his mission to an end, one way or another.
History: Howler used to live with a pack of other wolves on the edges of the lands where Soquili resided. One day, his Alphas spotted a strangely-colored horse leaving their territory, crossing over into the Soquili Lands. Curious about the strange coloring, The Alphas sent Howler to find out about the Soquili.
Howler, not wanting to disobey an order from his Alphas, left the pack following the strange-colored horse. One of the first things he spotted in Soquili lands were Mares tending to colorful baskets woven by the resident humans.
He'd seen baskets before, but he couldn't figure out why the Mares were doting over the things. He'd been trying to sneak off with a basket of his own ever since, in order to find out what makes these baskets so special. He's too afraid of the Mares tending the baskets to go up and ask them, and the Stallions are even more frightening if they've got a basket near by.
He's quietly watching, hoping to find an abandoned basket somewhere he can drag off away from the other Soquili. So far getting a basket for himself hasn't been easy. He's been chased off and nearly kicked by protective Soquili and humans alike for trying to steal a colored basket, but he dosn't like failing when his Alphas ask him to do something, so he'll keep trying until he gets one.
