Got my lass started. Working on finishing off her history, depending on how you think the Coast Guard would react to finding a little girl stranded with Pirates.

She would likely stay as a foundling for now, she doesn't have much in the way of skillsets - although she might be shipped off to CookHall at some point if I run out of ideas.

She's kind of literal adrift so it would make sense for her to internalize that she "belongs to" the Coast Guard at the moment since they're the ones who took her from her previous masters.

Plus she would likely have no idea how to act around society at large so a smaller group would be more comfortable for her.

Edit : Also have a dragon rider I could add in.

He's a N'dus of Brown Padith: an irascible man who loved to work as an Explorer until Threadfall and his partner was killed. He point blank refuses to return to the Weyrs for various reasons but he might have been originally from a Sea Hold and decide to take back up with some old friends ( possibly relatives )

I'll probably wait and see if anyone else wants to join, and talk to them about what they think their reaction would be, if that's alright. I've been avoiding working out too many of the details since I want people to be able to have input on how the group's run.

I wouldn't worry about her lack of skills, I have a feeling one of the sailors would take her under their wing to train her. But I'm all for RP-ing it out, and seeing where it goes. ^_^


Yeah, sounds great! My character and most of the founding members, I imagine, will be from Sea Holds, so we can work out some kind of familial relationship there, if you like. They'd all have their own reasons for deciding not to return to the Weyr too.

Awesome! I'll go ahead and get started on Neri's profile then.

To try and fill in some of the blanks, for you: the group is stationed in the Southern Islands of Western continent. I'm fine with Neri being his relative if you want. How old was he when he left the Hold? I just want to make sure she'd be old enough to remember him.
