"No. This is usually what happens around here. I'm busy working or sleeping and then I get a message about a student who nearly got themselves killed. You sort of get used to it." Vivian said to Sand as she began to push supplies onto the floor before she could get to what she wanted. "There you are." The nurse said to herself, fetching a large bottle of dark green liquid as she hurried with it into the bedding area. Once there, the woman kicked her heels off by the side of the door as she scurried back to her office as the fox girl filled her in about what she wished to do. The denial of her help was a bit of an annoyance. Before she could get catty with a student and resist the urge to pet those adorable ears of hers, she would sigh in relief as Gin was unharmed for now. No doubt she would see him in a day or two when he would slide open an artery, or whatever he had planned to give her a heart attack at such an early age. "Thankfully. If it was Gin causing this much excitement, I would kill him myself for worrying me this bad." She attempted to joke, though it fell flat as she was busy stressing about who the student was. It wasn't Gin or Sokea, and there was no way she was going to let him go. Not after yesterday. "Agreed. Leave him out of this. He's still recovering from the fight with the teacher."
At that moment, three people stepped inside of the office as the nurse craned her neck to look at them. The first of which was one of the professors, Gannon the Diviner. They had met a few times, but nothing aside from acknowledging a coworker. The next was the student she was warned out, Vivian moving towards him and grabbing his arm. The third man could be met at a later point. This was much more serious, in her mind, than introductions. "Are you alright?" Her tone was full of worry for the blond haired...boy? She really couldn't tell. That androgynous look really threw her for a loop. Regardless of his answer, Vivian would drag him into the bedding area. Her grasp on his arm would be firm but gentle enough to avoid hurting him more. "Sit down on the bed and strip." The nurse ordered as her back was turned, getting everything on the table next to the bed in order. "Everywhere that you were hurt. Down to your underwear." As Vivian turned her back, she would begin to inspect the student's body for any signs of injury or serious wounds. "Why were you in the woods, of all places?"

Tala was more than a little taken aback when the female suddenly grasped his arm and dragged him around towards the bedding area - he would have pulled away, his natural reflex to avoid physical contact as best he could, but her firm grip ensured he reacted quickly with his feet, rather than his fears... "Wait...What?" There was a hint of shock in his voice when she finally released him, then proceeded to tell him to strip down to his underwear. He would stand there a moment, more than a little reluctant to follow her order before opening his mouth to protest,
"It's nothing...really." he tried to attempt to talk his way out of it, but the female was already getting everything in order and Tala guessed she wasn't going to mess about. Biting his lip again, he pulled off his top, folding it and setting it down on the side of the bed before slipping off his boots and trousers. "Ah..." with his legs revealed, it quickly became apparent that he'd not only skinned his knees but also taken a few brambles to his shins, "I didn't think I'd broken the skin..." he ran his fingers across the area, wincing a little as it stung from the touch,
He tried not to flinch if Vivian made further contact, but it would become clear he wasn't overly comfortable with the situation, "I was there because I thought I would be safe..." he exhaled a sigh, keeping his eyes averted, "I grew up in the woods back home, so I figured as nobody ever ventured past the treeline, I could find somewhere to hang out and relax..." he'd certainly relished in the peace and calm of the forest, but he narrowed his eyes as he thought of how much it changed after the sun started to set, "Have there always been Monsters in there?" He knew he'd been very lucky to come out of the attack with nothing more than a few scrapes and bruises, but still...

The court mage had to restrain himself from snickering when the nurse told Tala to strip himself of his clothing sans the underwear. At least there was something to improve his mood, resorting to just smiling as if there was something funny about to unfold in front of him. The student mentioned a little more of his backstory, growing up in the woods in the past. That would partially explain his hobby of wandering around the forest to hunt and to do fun stuff. At the question about monsters, that was when he chimed in.
"While some can be kind, others are actually territorial. And here in this academy, we have people who are Shifters, being able to transform to some of those creatures, but all depends on their skill." After all, there were still some aspects that wouldn't be worth emulating; things would turn hazardous if the line would be crossed. He then stared at the sky; nighttime would soon be creeping in. The ballad would wait till another time, possibly during another free day for the school.

As a reluctant Tala emerged escorted by two of the professors into the Infirmary; chaos seemed to ensue.
More bodies, with that of Two professors, made the space somewhat like an enclosure as they crowded around the scathed Tala,
seeming to crowd him as he looked and appeared fretful as Vivian quite abruptly demanded that he take off his clothes down to his underwear so that she could examine, Sands face went pink at the view of an almost fully undressed male within her immediate area.
Gannon had thanked her for her quick response to the situation, this caused Sands cheeks to glow furiously with pink hue as
her mind chose to distract itself, " It is with great care and respect for this Academy that I protect my fellow classmates, Professor, for if not for the housing of this Academy id be without a home" Sand said bowing her head in respect of the Professor.
Now looking to Nurse Vivian she began processing the annoyed yet worried Vivian who had previously mentioned about finishing off Gin if he had indeed done something as foolish like venture off alone in the Forest. Although she did not know Gin exceptionally well enough to know his habits, Sand was given the impression that Gin was quite the rebel and a mischief maker. This proved to interest Sand for if he had gone into the Forest, given the potential dangers that a student had already been harmed, Sand would fret for her classmate. " Vivian, do you think it is a high possibility that Gin could be there now? for it may well be an idea to check since a student has already been harmed I wish not to see any more classmen hurt by such predatory savages who would prey on the defenceless like this, I humbly volunteer myself to aid in this search" she spoke kneeling down like a knight of honour.
Looking to Lerato who had mentioned the skills of a shifter and that about hostile creatures of territorial habits, she did have to think and consider a few aspects " do you think it is possible that a Shifter could become feral and harm another student?" she asked curiously, " either way I believe that the forest may have some clues as to what attacked Tala and is worth investigating further"

He was intrigued by the idea that there might be a shifter student or civilian living in the forest that had felt threatened by a student stepping into their territory. While he knew that shifters could become territorial, he didn’t think that one would openly try to harm or kill a student for coming into the forest. If that were the case, Gannon should have been attacked well before Tala had.
“I would hate to think that one of our students had been a part of the attack.” Gannon said with a frown as he looked from Lerato to Tala. “I can question the animals in the forest to find out who or what attacked Tala.” It was then that he heard Sand’s offer to help hunt down the animal that had caused the incident.
“I would appreciate our help, Sand. If there is a dangerous animal in the forest then we need to know about it. However, we’ll wait to make a decision on what to do about the animal until we find it.” Gannon wasn’t about to hunt down an innocent animal and take it’s life without just cause – yes Tala had been chased, but depending on the circumstances, the attack could have been of his own doing.
“I’m going to wait out in the hall. Vivian, please let me know when the examination was over.” Looking toward Sand and Lerato, he gestured to the hall. He suspected that Tala was extremely uncomfortable with the entire situation, therefore, to make Vivian’s job easier and Tala’s experience less stressful, they’d adjourn to the hallway and wait.
Moving to the door, he opened it and stepped into the empty hallway to wait for the verdict on Tala’s condition.

This Tala seemed uncomfortable with being touched, much to Vivian's dismay. After reviewing him for injuries, which were thankfully minor at best, she scribbled down some notes onto the clipboard on the side of the bed. Patient was in the woods by the school, attacked by an animal or monster. Wounds are minor, no serious procedures required. ~Viv She perked her head up as the man who came with Gannon spoke up about the "monsters" that were hiding around in the forest. She had not seen one since coming here, but then again, the nurse did have a tendency to either be in her office or her quarters, making love to her precious collection of sake bottles. A random thought wondered if she could slip one in after this but her professional mind scolded her for even thinking of that. "Not sure why a student would attack one of their own, though. I'm not a court mage, but I'm pretty sure that would be grounds for getting a boot out of this place." She continued before realizing that she forgot to pull the curtain around them. She reached to the back of her and slowly walked around the bed as the white color curtains followed behind her, blocking their view of the poor boy. She then would look to Talas with a face of worry, concern, and whatever other motherly adjectives that came to mind when looking at the nurse.
"I am so sorry about that." Vivian said with a frown. "I'l going to need to touch for a little while. Just bear with me, okay?" She would reached for the bottle of disinfectant and some cloth laying around, pouring the liquid onto it before looking back at him with a face that seemed apologetic. Her hands would move to where the brambles were, gently dusting off the wound and getting rid of any more debris that was still present. Meanwhile, the fox artic wolf girl brought up a good point. Gin loved to play hero to these things. "It...wouldn't surprise me. If he comes in here next, I'm going to strap him to a bed for a week." She pressed the solution against Tala's wounds, causing sharp sensations of pain as she did this with each visible wound he had. "Right away, Gannon. It shouldn't be too long." The nurse replied, focusing on his wounds until finishing up cleaning them. She went to him and offer a smile, or the best she could give. "There. We just ned to clean them up and then the hard part will be over." There was a great sense of care to her, especially how she was treating somebody who hated to be touched. Every flinch caused a feeling of guilt enter her soul, something she did her best to ignore as she reached for a clean cloth and dabbed at the wounds, soaking up any excess blood or solution.
Once that was finished, Vivian brought her index and middle finger to her lips, blowing soft as her raiment was partially started. "I'm going to need to touch you again, Tala. Sorry." She then pressed them against his neck as a marking resembling a lips, puckered in a kiss being created as their souls temporarily intertwined with another. Tala could feel the wounds beginning to warm up as his body speed up the healing process. The wounds would scab over now, slowly closing which would still take some time. "You'll live." She attempted to joke again. "Just try not to go out there again until Gannon says it's safe, alright?"

"...It's okay," Tala would welcome the shield from prying eyes, disrobing infront of others wasn't something he normally did and so he'd tried to keep his back to them for his own peace of mind, still, he couldn't help but feel their gaze which left him a little embarrassed. He would try his best not to flinch so much when Vivian applied the disinfectant, he could see it affected her some, but failed to restrain the occasional sharp intake of breath as every other wound stung worse than its predecessor.
Tala had decided to try and distract his mind from what was going on and so began to focus on things around the room, "...You would do that?" he suddenly looked back, more than a little surprised to hear Vivian's comment about strapping a student to a bed for a week, he hoped never to reach such a stage that she would even consider that in regards to himself.
He would continue to avert his eyes, wincing less and less as the initial stinging started to ease; his anxiety would also begin to fade, gradually being replaced with curiosity, especially when Vivian used her ability to close up the wounds. He'd seen Baba work her magic in the past, but never in such a caring manner as Vivian's, he was fascinated with how it worked, but wasn't entirely sure if he approved of the 'warming sensation' Still, he sat through it nonetheless. "Oh, you don't hafta worry about me going back out there... well...except to maybe get my book back..." the thought crossed his mind again and he wondered if it was wise to speak such words after being warned about waiting until it was safe again... Hoping she would let the comment pass, he smiled at her own words before looking to his clothing and stifling a shiver, "Can I get dressed again now...? It's kinda cold..."
His gaze would inevitably snap towards the door as it flew open and he would instinctively reach for his shirt, holding it around him until granted the opportunity to dress again. Once allowed, he would slide the rest of his attire on as carefully as he could before making a note to change it when he found his way to his dormitory later on.
With the room growing ever busier, Tala would quickly find himself becoming quite concerned about the shrinking space. "I can go now...right?" He looked to Vivian, hoping she would grant him his leave - if she said yes, he would slide on his trousers and grab his boots before weaving his way between the crowd and making a hasty exit - in his socks - into the corridor.

Hearing that it would be impossible for a student to attack Tala made him blush slightly, mainly because of embarrassment. "You all have a point but still..." The awkwardness of him would have be punctuated even more if it wasn't for another student dropping by, requesting for another student to be checked over. Oops, such wrong timing indeed, and it didn't help that Tala was reacting strangely to the intrusion. Indeed, Lerato had nothing else to say at this point and he had other things to do. With that, he stood up, facing the entire crowd with a serious look on his face. "It's nice meeting you all, but I better head back to my office. Let me know if you need something." And with that, he left the office because right now, he needed to clear his head of the chaos that occurred in just a single day. It didn't even help that he would perform his duty as the substitute professor since it would be mostly unlikely that the replacement would come by, anyway.
Not to mention that the disappointment still lingered inside him. It would be best to remain positive, looking forward to being productive, just to ensure that he himself would be okay.

Sand listened to Nurse Vivian as she was gestured to the hall by Gannon to save Tala's modesty and save her embarrassment.
Pausing and Seeing through the doorway a brief glimpse at what could be described as an erotic way to heal someone, her cheeks flushed red to look away and attempt a response to Gannon who accepted her help to search for the assailant who had harmed the student Tala," Maybe it's Not a student but we cannot know this for certain till we know what we are dealing with we must keep all options open till we know for sure one way or another, in the meantime I believe it may be wise to inform other students not to venture out into the forests after a curfew to protect them" Gannon had a point of reasoning in capturing it alive as it may or may not prove interesting to examine as to what caused the creature to frenzy.
Distracted from her thoughts by a familiar voice, Sand watched as Gin was carried by Ven with a rather bouncy Sokea,
she could not contain her relief at seeing Gin, knowing he was safe was like a heavy weight had just been lifted from her shoulders, allowing an exasperated sigh to escape.
" Thank the gods in seeing you Here Sokea, thank you for looking after Gin he needs a friend like you to keep him safe," she said braving a smile and patting Sokea on the shoulder lightly " its good to see you looking better than yesterday, that was some fight I could really learn a thing or two from you" she would say before the air filled with a waft of stale blood again...Tala
Raising a brow as Tala tried to slink off she rolled her eyes and shook her head, she could tell the boy was trouble.
" Hey, Tala what do you think you are doing? you look like a scared ferret " she said " I hope you're not trying to go back into the forest again...not with a predator on the hunt..make sure you go straight to your dorm it's been a long day for most of us" she said looking as Lerato waltzed away with little words she would give a kind wave in his direction " See you in music Professor!"
Her attention back on Sokea she patted his head before smiling towards Tala's escapism " can't help some people, some will run into danger no matter what you do..."

Standing out in the hallway, Gannon lazily caressed Brageet’s breast feathers as she dozed on his shoulder, napping. Nodding at Sand, he had to agree. “I agree. While the forest isn’t normally off limits to students, it might be wise to warn them of the dangers and insist that they not venture in alone, until the beast is found and identified.”
Any further conversation in regards to the creature were cut off with the arrival of Ven, a light haired student that Sand referred to as ‘Sokea’ and Gin, the wolf shifter that had been at the school for the last three years. Narrowing his gaze, he looked to Ven, concerned. “Ven? What happened?” They had hardly started off the new school year and students were already filling the infirmary.
With all of the commotion, Lerato slipped away from the scene without saying a word to his colleague and boyfriend. It would only be later that Gannon would realize this and find it most upsetting that Lerato hadn’t stayed to care for the students that required their attention. He knew that the other Court Mage was as busy as he was, but these sorts of incidents were why they’d been placed in charge of the Academy.
Following Ven into the infirmary, he was surprised to see Tala dressed and ready to slip back out of the infirmary. Hearing Sand's words, it seemed that she too had picked up on the fact that he was trying to sneak away. Frowning he looked to the boy with a firm, yet sincere air. “Tala, don’t go into the forest alone. Do you hear me? If I catch you out there alone, again, there will be severe consequences. I suggest you follow Sand's advice and go to your dorm and rest. We can find what you lost tomorrow.” He stated before letting the boy go. He suspected that his warning wouldn’t be heeded, but he wasn’t going to follow the student everywhere he went – no, he had his own spies for that…

"I might have to, if Gin doesn't stop getting himself hurt." Vivian said to Tala while the treatment continued. The topic of Gin certainly was a rough one for her. In all of her time at the academy, which was not that much, she could tell Gin was going to be the bane of her. No matter how much she ordered, yelled, scolded, even begged, he just would not stop getting himself into trouble. Each time he came back in there was another session of her telling him to be more careful. He always gave a nod, said he would, or told her he wouldn't, all of them a cover so she could rest easy. The mere thought of it caused her head to ache. Tala mentioned going back to the woods to retrieve his book as she made a scolding face. "Not while I'm still Nurse, you aren't. Let Ganon and his group fetch it for you. Consider yourself lucky it wasn't a broken bone or anything." As his wounds had now fully closed, she pressed her two fingers back against his neck as her raiment finished the effects.
"Put your clothes back and you're free to go. If I find out you've went to go get that book back, you're going to regret it." Vivian walked out of the curtained area to give Tala some room. A lightheaded feeling washing over her as the aftereffects of her raiment would be there for a short while. The nurse sat down on the bed opposite to his and exhaled, doing her best to not fall onto the floor or anything. No, it wasn't until Ven and Sokea came in that her day got worse. The familiar dark skinned student with cat ears made her heart sink further. She forced herself off the bed and followed the two as they carried an unconscious Gin. "Put him in the bed here." She managed, only barely managing to prevent herself from losing her balance. This damn raiment... She looked at Ven and Sokea, then back to Gin. "What happened?" Her voice was now full of worry and fury. She wanted answers. Vivian turned to Sokea. "Did you or Gin just ignore what I said? Especially you? FIghting the teacher one day, and then still feeling sore, just go and take a stroll in the woods?" She looked at the other people outside of the two, her face in an annoyed look. "Everyone out. Sokea, Ven, you're staying."

 The school had barely started and there was already a crowd of people in the infirmary. Ven swallowed back a sigh, nodding at Gannon, Lerato and Sand as he entered the room, although he almost smiled at the kid's, Sokea he finally found out, exuberant entrance. They were greeted by Gannon and Vivian, who apparently had another patient behind the curtain, whom Ven recognised as the first year from the library yesterday. "My student was being an idiot," he answered them both, gently depositing Gin in the hospital bed that Vivian vacated. "Can you handle him?" he asked, casting her a worried look. She seemed tired and while Ven wanted his student to feel better, but he knew that her raiment had its drawbacks.
Waving at Lerato as he left, Ven didn't pay the other talking students any mind, too focused on Gin, until Vivian turned on Sokea, demanding he explain himself before shooing everyone except for him and Sokea out. "What happened yesterday? Did Gin say or do anything?" He barely kept his frustration and worry in check as he asked, then he shook his head. there were other things he needed to worry about. "What do you think Vivian? Exhaustion or is it something more?"

"I can. Just let me see what's wrong with him." Vivian replied. She would first check for a pulse, which hopefully would be there. Otherwise Vivian would scream at everyone to get out, lock the door, and get plastered until she couldn't wake up for a few days. With Ven and Sokea by her side, she would lift up Gin's shirt, robe, cloak thing and inspect him for any injuries. Her movements were frantic, worried that the student had gotten himself something worse than unconscious. "I'm not sure. He's unconscious, so something made his body shut down. I'm just not sure what it could be." Vivian furrowed her brows and continued her diagnosis of her patient. "Damn it, Gin. What have you done to herself..."
