The mute felt her body lock up for a time, clearly still processing the slight injury as all she could do was watch as her friend took the Rogue on. Their short exchange almost seemed to leave an opening to Eyrli if not for her body reacting the way it is. Nngh... Damn it, move..! She was about to watch her friend get mauled right in front of her! At least that was until another Shifter already transformed leaped in to intervene. Meanwhile the Fox Shifter seemed far too afraid to step in, she couldn't blame her. More than likely this one didn't have any experience in a fight or perhaps wanted to avoid it altogether.
When Eyrli returned her full attention to the enemy before them he was then launching another blade in her direction, although it was again knocked off course by her Elementor classmate... This time however it didn't completely miss and would catch the electrified student in her left shin, cause her to reel back and drop down onto one knee. Her body shuddered, she could feel about a third of the sharp weapon dug into her leg, yet the initial pain she felt seemed less noticable already... Adrenaline was already pumping through body as she realised their enemy was trying to retreat back into the City... Where Lelyna is. ...You are NOT getting away. Her mind repeated to herself as she'd pull the dagger from her leg and stand quickly, putting some more of her weight onto her good leg to try and relieve the injury. While she could still balance herself properly Eyrli would pull a hand back, electrical energy flowing into the palm of her hand before she thrust it forward and released the energy in the form of a straight bolt of electricity. Aiming it just in front of the fleeing enemy, she'd hope she could at least halt his retreat just enough for someone to catch him... It was then she saw somebody else push through the group, attempting to catch the Rogue. With any luck, it will work as intended.

It had all happened so quickly, yet time seemed to slow around them - albeit briefly - Jesse had watched practically helpless as the Static Wielder and Nanashi took on the Shifter, the initial scent of copper seemed to become more pungent as more blood was drawn and her large ears would flatten back as she watched the fight unfold...
The last vision she expected to see was Gin, but her ears perked up as she heard his howl and she watched with baited breath as the Wolf leapt right between the Cheetah and Nanashi... It was surprising to see the force that knocked the Rogue sideways and seemed to break his spirit just enough for the Shifter to bottle it and try to make an escape...
She was lucky to have not been targeted by one of the daggers as he retreated - perhaps it was down to her size? - but her eyes would zero in on the one her friend failed to deflect and her jaw dropped as she watched it stick into his wrist... What stunned her more was the fact he just pulled it out then turned to face her. In one swift movement, she was in his arms - she extended a paw, aware that blood wasn't the easiest thing to get out of her fur, but relaxed as she listened to what he had to say, feeling his hand running across her ears and through the fur of her head.
At that point, she couldn't help but revert to her human form, she had tears in her eyes - after all the people who she had felt she had scared away, here was one who had proven several times that very day that they cared, even if he had confused her by calling her a name...but in hindsight, was it not just another means of protecting her? "N-Nanashi..." at this point, she would wrap her own arms around him - as best she could - and rest her head against his chest. She no longer cared about the blood that would no doubt be staining her clothes - but then again, he should probably get it wrapped?
In that moment though, regardless of what unfolded around her, she didn't want to let go...

Gin was relieved to know that heโd prevented the Cheetah Shifter from attacking, but it didnโt mean they were out of danger just yet. Growling low, ears down, he kept his gaze trained on the enemy. It seemed the shifter realized how outnumbered he was, because his next move was to retreat. Growling low, Gin angled to go after him only to see the enemy toss two daggers, one towards him and the other at Eryli. Before he could even react, Nanashi threw his own daggers, knocking the projectiles from their path. Unfortunately, the daggers still found marks on him and Eryli. Unable to move quickly enough, the blade sliced his arm, cutting deep and leaving a good-sized gash but failing to embed in his flesh.
Grimacing, Gin yelped and growled low in pain and anger. Looking up, he heard Nanashi cry out as he too was hit with a third dagger. Gin shifted into his human form just as Nanashi pulled the projectile from his wrist, causing it to spurt blood. Grabbing his own bleeding wound he ran over. Much to his bewilderment, Nanashi had ripped out the dagger like it was nothing โ even though it was a serious wound โ before moving over to Jesse to comfort her. While he understood the need to comfort someone that he cared for, Gin knew that if Nanshi wasnโt careful, his wound would be his undoing.
โNanashi! Get yourself and Jesse to the infirmary!โ Giving the boy a grateful nod, he looked up in time to see Sokea running past to follow the Cheetah Shifter! The following flash of electricity made him look toward Eryli for a moment โ she was injured as well but he knew he needed to help Sokea.
โ********> Looking between Sokea and Eryli quickly, he pointed at her as he ripped his shirt and tied his wound to stop the bleeding as best as he could. Holding Eryliโs gaze, he spoke firmly. โGet yourself to the infirmary as well...we'll handle the shifter.โ While he could have used her help, she could hardly stand, let alone run, so he didnโt want to push her, hence the command to get back to the Academy. That being said, he shifted back into his wolf form and made a dash after Sokea and the enemy.
Howling low, he knew that Sokea would know that he was following close behind. Luckily, his howl didnโt distract Sokea from his goal as he gained on the shifter and moved to trip him up, literally. Keeping up his sprint, he gained on them both, hoping to sink his teeth into the b*****d that had hoped to attack the Academy and the students withinโฆIgnoring the pain in his arm, Gin sprinted as fast as he could, and the moment he was within range, he lept at the Cheetah Shifter, claws and teeth ready to do as much damage as possible...

Darting just past the group, the Black Armored Rogue started to get moving in time to take his opening. He hadnโt seen yet another youth suddenly show up however, and so wasnโt expecting the sudden barricade that he tripped over, his leg striking the youthโs as he started to lose his balance. When the young boy grabbed his wrist, he quickly retaliated, his sharp claws striking out at his hand in a kind of knee-jerk reaction to being grabbed. When the youth pushed at him, he lifted a foot and kicked at the boy as he fell back, and fortunately for him, when he fell onto the ground, the sudden bolt of electricity released by Eryli flew overhead and struck the ground behind him. Rolling up to his feet, he attempted to start running once more but was thwarted by Ginโs sudden attack, throwing him to the ground as Gin suck his fangs into his shoulder. Quickly retaliating, the Rogue clawed at Ginโs face as his as he sunk his teeth into the Rogueโs shoulder, and he tried to kicked at Gin in order to get free of him as he shifted into his full Cheetah form and started to claw and bite at Gin in return.

Since Gin had assumed his wolf form, it took him much less time to arrive at the city gates to help with the fight that was taking place. For Griselda, she cannot run as fast as a wolf, and the condition of her left heel prevents her from running as quick as her body should be able to. However, she did arrive several minutes later, and what she saw was worse than she imagined. Eyrli has a visible injury on her leg. Nanashi is also hurt. Gin just finished tending to his injury the best he could, but there is not much he can do on the field with limited resources. Nanashi has to get to the school infirmary where the doctor and nurse can take better care of him. Aside from them, there were bodies everywhere. They were the unfortunate ones who did not escape the slaughter that took place here...and this was done by one person? There is only one person who is attacking the group here, so the surprise of the attack must have allowed him to kill so many. As horrified as Griselda was to see all of this death and destruction, she came here to help and that is what she is going to do. She made her way over to Nanashi and Jesse before she said,
"Can the two of you make it to the infirmary?"

The taste of blood covered his tongue and slipped down his throat as his teeth sank into the manโs shoulder, latching on like a vice. All he knew was that this man had come to the Academy to hurt his friends and his loved ones. At this moment, it was kill or be killed and there was no way in hell Gin was going to give this man a chance to bring reinforcements back with him. But the Cheetah Shifter had a lot of fight left in him.
As they slammed to the ground, the manโs shifted hands reached up to claw at his face. Razor sharp, they sliced at his ears, cheeks and shoulder, desperate for him to let go. As the two tumbled on the ground, the man shifted into his full form and then it was wolf vs. cheetah. Wrapping his own arms around the man, Gin aimed for the manโs sides, slashing as he held his grip on the shoulder. But as they tumbled again, he knew he needed to break free. Releasing his jaw, he jumped back and slashed at the manโs face, hoping to leave a few scars of his own behind.
Panting, blood dripping from his jaw, claw marks and blood staining his fur, he locked his gaze on the cheetah. Sokea was a formidable fighter as well, and one that would be invaluable in a fight. Whether or not his love would jump in and risk injury in this fight remained to be seen but either way, Gin would fight to the death to defend those he lovedโฆ

Getting back to his feet, Sokea cursed to himself, he wasn't able to establish a link. Sokea saw Gin seek his teach into the rogue, and witness the rogue retaliate by shifting into his full cheetah form. Sokea assessed each movement, looking for how each of them strike and where their openings are. Sokea bubbled with anger as he saw the cheetah hurt Gin, the person he loved most in the world. The sight of his blood sent shivers down his spine, this rogue picked the wrong people to mess with. Sokea wanted this rogue alive, but it seems given his situation he was going to fight to the death. Sokea knew Gin was a good fighter, but Sokea knew that he was just fighting tooth and nail at this point. They needed a plan of attack to take down this idiot.
Sokea shouted towards Gin, he had a plan to cause this Cheetah to exit stage living, "Gin! Bite one of his upper front legs and hold him there!" Sokea began to run to a better position so he could go in when the time was right. He waited for Gin to get that one bite in, the nail in this rogue's coffin. He wasn't going to let this rogue kill anyone else, and with Gin's help they're going to make sure he pays. Once Gin got the bite and held the cheetah in place, Sokea would position him self to be perpendicular to them as he approached. As the rogue would be clawing at Gin, Sokea would start sprinting towards them. When Sokea would be just a few feet away, he would jump up and towards the cheetahs head; reaching out his with his arms, taking a firm hold onto the cheetahs head. Sokea would then use his descending momentum to use the cheetah's head as a means to twist his body all the way around mid-air, snapping the shifter's head in the process. Sokea has never killed anyone before, but by the gods will he be more than happy to end the life of someone who threatens those he loves.

Tumbling about and writhing in pain, the Cheetah clawed and tried to bite at the wolf as best he could as the wolf held on like a vice clamped down on his shoulder. He only let go for a brief moment just as the voice of the other youth called out to him, and the Cheetah's eyes went wide at the words. As fast as he was, however, the Cheetah was unable to avoid the wolf's advance, as he didn't know which leg he was going to go for, and also was only just getting to his feet after their tumble. Expecting an attack to come from his side, he braced himself, locking up his muscles to take the hit, and figured if they gave him enough of an opening, he would be able to dart away and finally get enough speed to run. But he was wrong, so utterly wrong. At that moment when he tensed up, the boy launched himself and took hold of his head, twisting around in the air before swinging down as if it was a pole, holding it firmly as his weight came down on him. It would be brutal, and swift, but nothing could be done to stop it. A loud screaming yelp could suddenly be heard as the cheetah's head turned and rotated completely around nearly a hundred and eighty degrees. The Cheetah's body would instantly go limp and fall to the ground with its head twist and upside down in the wrong direction as it plopped down on top of Sokea. It would be completely still as the light of the Cheetah's eyes faded from existence.

The mute girl was only able to watch things play out after her last action... Even after the Wolf Shifter demanded they return to the Academy, Eyrli was far from ready to see to her own safety until she'd confirmed anothers. As Gin and another boy were eventually able to pin down and deal the finishing blow on the opposing Shifter. The final sound that left the feline enemy cause a flinch from Eyrli... Even she knew that was a sound of one who was defeated. No way I'll ever get used to that. She'd then regain her balance to the best of her ability before making a steady approach approach towards her Combat Class Tutor, giving him a grateful look... More than likely things would have went worse if he hadn't shown up.
Her body wavered slightly as she continued to shift her balance to her good leg, Although she was ready to move on right away Eyrli at least had to try to sort her wound, albeit temporarily. With the dagger she pulled from her leg the girl sat on the ground and started to cut through the the bottom end of her dress, leaving the wound clearly visible up until she used the long piece of fabric to try and form a makeshift bandage around her shin, forming a knot at the back of her leg. While hardly the best idea she's ever had, it would have to do for a little longer.
Eyrli looked again towards Gin, this time looking more serious... Unsure if he would try to stop her from going on forward, but hardly caring if he did as after a couple seconds she would start to move towards the city at more of a joggers pace, doing her best to cover distance quickly without causing herself TOO much pain.

Hearing Sokeaโs command, Gin didnโt hesitate to jump at the shifter, his already bloodied jaw wide open and ready to chomp down upon the Cheetahโs flesh. The moment he made contact, his fangs sank deeply into the shifterโs thigh, blood filling his mouth and slipping down his throat, nearly gagging him. Digging his paws and heels into the dirt, Gin held fast and trusted in Sokea to do what needed to be done to finish the job.
The screaming yelp that emanated from the shifter sent a sharp chill down his own spine, causing his fur to bristle. The resounding crap of the shifter's neck didnโt help eitherโฆAs the shifterโs body went limp, Gin released his hold and jumped back only to see the body fall forward onto Sokea.
Panting, hurting, he shifted back into his human form. Bracing his weight on all fours, he hung his head. His mouth, jaw and neck were smeared with the blood of the shifter. His own blood dripped from multiple wounds that left him aching and hissing in pain. This was not how heโd wanted to spend his day.
Raising his head, he looked up to see Sokea struggling underneath the corpse of their enemy, reaching out towards him. "Please help me up Gin... I'm stuck." Shaking his head a little, Gin crawled forward. His arm ached, but he ignored the pain as he shoved the lifeless body of the cheetah off of his love. The moment Sokea was free, Gin drew Sokea into his arms and held him tightly, pressing his cut and bloodied face into Sokeaโs neck, his eyes closed.
โDonโt you ever run after an enemy like that againโฆโ He whispered firmly, his voice shaking a bit. โI cant lose you, not againโฆโ Holding him tight, Gin felt his emotions well up and his eyes sting with tears.

He felt the life of a living being cease to be in an instant, and he didn't know how to properly react. Before he had time to assess his emotions, he found himself stuck under cheetah. The weight of the creature was too much for Sokea to move. Looking up he saw Gin, bloody from the battle. Sokea squirmed in his arms in his direction. "Please help me up Gin... I'm stuck.". After Gin moved the corpse that was crushing Sokea, he found himself being pulled tightly into Gin's arms. Sokea felt his face on his neck, wet from the cheetah's blood and his own.
Sokea was... surprised, relieved, scared, and all things in between. His arms were limp at his sides as he was embraced by Gin. After hearing Gin's words... Sokea's arms began to shake, his arms quivering as he started to hug Gin back, tightly. Tears swelled in his eyes and started to drip down his face. Sokea chuckled a bit with a shaking voice, "I don't plan on losing you either, I had to do something. I'll cook you some steaks when this is done to make up for it." Sokea nuzzled his head in Gin's hair, letting him know he was alright. After a their embrace, Sokea took a step back and looked at Gin straight into his eyes. Sokea loved him with all of his heart, and made sure he was going to protect him, and help him sort through this mess. Sokea looked over and saw a white haired girl approach them, and say nothing. She seemed to be grateful of his actions. Sokea gave her a quizzical look, unknowing of why she wasn't speaking. Then, without a word she started to run off into the city.
With a concerned look, he gave his attention back to Gin, "We're gonna have to follow her, aren't we? Alas... you're wounded." Sokea gently wiped some of the blood off of Gin's face with his sleeve, avoiding smearing them into the cuts. "You need a healer, Gin. They're already expecting for injured to be coming in at the academy, I can take you there." Sokea stated. His tone was worried, but firm. As much as Sokea knew that he himself should press on into the city, he didn't want to leave Gin behind or push himself. Sokea grabbed his hands, and deactivated his raiment. He knew he had to reserve every second he could with it.

Having passed a wounded Nanashi and Jesse who was helping him on his way toward the gates, Gannon knew that as he arrived that he would find his worst fear โ more wounded students making their way back to the Academy for aid. While he was proud of his students for standing up for themselves and working together to protect the Academy from the attack, he hated seeing them wounded or worseโฆHe prayed that none of the students lost their lives, but he also knew that fate was cruel and if the Gods wished for a soul, they would take it.
Coming upon the scene, he found only Gin and Sokea. Sokea, although smeared with blood, looked to be unharmed, where as Ginโฆhe looked worse for wear to say the least. Bleeding from multiple wounds, it was clear that the shifter had fought hard. Seeing the Cheetahโs limp body, he could only imagine how his students had taken down such a powerful enemy โ regardless, he felt pride, but also concern. โGin, Sokea, are you two alright?โ He said with concern, approaching them and getting a closer look at them but taking care not to touch them.
โYou boys look like you need medical attention, or at least Gin doesโฆletโs get you back to the infirmary.โ He said as he looked around them, keeping an eye out for any other enemies who thought to come to the school.

Feeling Sokea hug him tightly, it hurt, literally, but he didnโt care. This was the best feeling in the world; holding the one he loved. Chuckling, he smirked at Sokeaโs words. โIโm going to hold you to thatโฆโ He whispered, savoring the feeling of Sokea nuzzling his neck affectionately. Looking up, he noticed Eryli shuffling past, headed toward the City Square. He was tempted to stop her, to tell her not to go toward the danger, but he sensed her resolve. Giving her a little nod of understanding, he watched as she tied her wound and then ran as fast as was able, toward the city. Hearing Sokeaโs words, he shook his head. โNoโฆshe knows what sheโs doingโฆโ Looking back down at Sokea, he leaned into his touch as he wiped his sleeve against his cheek โ Gods he must look like a crazy person with the blood all over his mouth!
โYeahโฆthat seems like the best course of action.โ He watched as Sokea took his hands and deactivated his raiment. As the two moved to walk back, Gannon arrived, a worried look in his eyes. Nodding, he released a heavy sigh. โWeโve been betterโฆโ
Nodding yet again, he sighed, releasing one of Sokeaโs hands so he could wrap it around his shoulders and lean into him a little. Gannon looked like he was on guard, ready to fight as needed. As the three headed back toward the Academy, one thought came to mindโฆ โAw damn, Rin is going to kill me.โ
