"Well that wasn't awkward at all," Aphelios uttered as she watched Itiri turn his attention to others who had come forward to confirm they were welcome within the pride. She gazed down at her necklace and with considerable dexterity she slipped the small grass twine through the hole in the bone and wrapped the new totem around her neck.

"You call that awkward?" Yuanshou smirked as she held out her necklace for assistance.

"What would you have called it?" the pink lioness asked as she constructed Yuanshou's totem and slung it round her neck. At which point, she returned her gaze to Yuanshou who was unceremoniously pointing towards Erkan with her paw. Completely unabashed, the yellow lioness wasn't making any secret of it either and shrugged her shoulders.

"The fact that some of them think that's a birth mark," she murmured. "I'm 90% sure that guy only has one eye, ain't no one gonna tell 'em that?" she pointed out. Aphelios afforded a quick glance towards Erkan and then shook her head.

"You know, I'm fairly certain that's none of my business," she pointed out gently and then raised a brow. "Or yours," she added, knowing full well her overly honest companion was likely to blurt something out when it was up to Erkan as to whether or not he made it clear. At least, despite what eye he may or may not have, he'd already found some companionship in the form of two locals already and both of them did seem rather pleasant...

He really had no reason to worry, it appeared that on this occasion the Ancestors had looked at this particular lion and decided that he was meant to be here. Not only had they given Nche the sign that he meant no harm, but they had also seen it fitting to recognise that he was of a rather appropriate family!

"N'anya?" Itiri smiled deeply at this and cast his eyes towards Citrouille with a measure of amusement. "We don't have many who are placed within the family of love," he pointed out. "While small in number they will treat you with the utmost kindness," he reassured the newcomer. However, it didn't seem that on this occasion Citrouille was overly engagement in either he or Nche.

...He was looking for someone.

"But one has to wonder who you might be seeking and if perhaps, it would be advantageous to find you an escort if you are unable to place them here?"

A lot of things were happening right now, new lions in the pride, new family members, she'd heard her family name being mentioned and was assured her family would be more than happy to approach the newcomers whilst she 'observed' in her own way. Her pale sightless eyes half lidded as her ears and nose twisted at the slightest sound and smell.

One smell in particular caught her briefly offguard as she tilted her head slightly and stood herself up, on soft paws she gently made her way through the crowd, whiskers making sure she didn't bump into anyone as she followed the familiar smell. What was that? It was definitely someone she knew, not someone she 'saw' every day though and as she drew closer she found it mingle with that of the Onyeisi. Maybe they were talking to them? However once she was close enough it finally clicked and her face lit up in realization as she took a few steps closer.

She dipped her head politely, she knew Itiri was there even if she couldn't see where exactly and smiled as she tilted her head. "Sorry to interrupt anything, I just wanted to congratulate my friend." She gave a small playful smirk with that confident air she inherited from her mother. "So you ended up joining hm?"
